Brave new world
So while I have been playing/dming since 2008 (yes that means my true first edition was 4th) I have been playing since then, on all kinds of systems and games. White Wolf, 3rd-5e dnd, some pathfinder, and just a taste of Torchbearer and Mouseguard.
I have never used a play by post system and am interested in it. Mostly to play/run Torchbearer if possible as I am in love with that entire system and play dynamic.
I hope I get the chance to really try out some of this stuff. Feel free to ask or even start that debate I know is coming about 4th edition. Though I would much rather talking about settings, and world building if I have the chance.

Welcome, shroomofinsanity. You're definitely in the right place, and have arrived at a pretty good time as there seems to be a fair amount of interest in Torchbearer lately.
Good luck finding or starting a game, and definitely don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions.
Enjoy!

What's 4th edition?
Welcome to the US, shroom!
I think I had a run-in or two with you back in my early days.

Re: Brave new world
True, I stand corrected! - 1e is the pinnacle. Even the 2e books are a big let down.

Not to start an edition war, but I respectfully disagree.ravenn4544 wrote:True, I stand corrected! - 1e is the pinnacle. Even the 2e books are a big let down.

I may have made mention of the new TB game starting up over on G+.dmw71 wrote:...and have arrived at a pretty good time as there seems to be a fair amount of interest in Torchbearer lately.

This is a game about killing things and taking their stuff so you can become more powerful in order to kill bigger things and take even better stuff.
Re: Brave new world
Welcome. I think you'll find what you are looking for here.
