Just letting you all know that I will be heading back down to the island for our spring vacation this afternoon.

Zhym, Grothnak gets a new weapons proficiency this level. There is no training requirement before 5th level in this game. It would be cool if Grothnak chose a weapon he came in contact with, but I won't place restrictions on your choice. Thanks.

I didn't think he'd get another proficiency until 4th level. BtB, fighters get an extra proficiency every three levels after the first, so the next proficiency would come up at 4th level, then 7th, etc.

From the PHB:

Added Proficiency in Weapons gives the number of additional weapons the character can use with proficiency upon attaining the indicated number of levels above the 1st. Thus, at 1st level a cleric can use two weapons with proficiency, at 5th level the cleric selects another for a total of three, at 9th level the total is four, at 13th five, etc.

Of course, I'm happy to take a proficiency if you'd like.

Desleigh was seen by Hoom acting as your jailor in the dungeon of cages beneath the Golden Grain Inn. He joined the pitched battle there, backstabbed Pelias, and fled when the tide turned.

He is the only enemy to not fight to the death once revealed and engaged, as mentioned in Know Your Enemy.

The voice on the other side of the cellar door, during your second visit to the dungeon beneath the Golden Grain Inn, certainly sounded sarcastic enough to be Desleigh.

Just an FYI... I just got selected to serve on a jury, and the trial is expected to run two or three days. This will cut into my available free time somewhat, and I won't have access to my computer during the day, so there's a chance my updates to be delayed somewhat.
