The man opens the door and begins loading his vehicle. No time to waste he thinks. Keeping his angel with him he checks every 15 minutes on the progress of the enemy.

[Monsieur Rose]

"Ok then, let's get to work. While we're getting some exercise, maybe someone could setup a quick defensive perimeter for when those extra security cars arrive? Also, those parts from the security vehicles could come in handy later, I don't have much experience on the road, but it looks like scavenging is SOP."

Axel starts moving gold into the bus. "Careful not to dent the pole, gents."

[Grognardsw]

Isaac C. Heinlein, space man

"Roger that," radios Ike from his saucer. He circles above looking for security cars.

[Urson]

ok- time passes. A small percentage of the bullion is moved into other vehicles. Is anyone salvaging from the security trucks?

[Zhym]

Marlowe Spade lets out a low whistle at the sight of all that gold. "That's the stuff dreams are made of," he says.

He lights a cigarette and looks down the road in either direction. "One hour doesn't give us much time," he says, "and I don't like our odds against two more security vehicles. Maybe we should grab what we can in the next forty-five minutes and get out of here?"

The man was not interested in the disabled vehicles.

[Monsieur Rose]

"Lana, this is taking forever. I didn't retire to the road to do grunt work. I need new ideas. What type of tires does this truck need, and are there any generic tires that might fit it? Could we, for instance, search the nearby area for a workaround?

[Urson]

Any tires suited for a semi tractor will work on this vehicle. According to my onboard maps, there are three repair facilities within 5 miles that might have the material you will need to repair the truck.

[Monsieur Rose]

"Hey Lana, is this thing on? Everyone is able to hear me, right?"

"Ok. I'm going to head out to the closest repair shop to see if I can find something. Let's split up and find some tires!"

"Lana, set a countdown for when the other security trucks will arrive. I want to get back in time for the fireworks."

[Urson]

Of course, boss- unless you tell me otherwise, I will automatically relay your speech to all the Guides in our local Net.
Timer is set- 47 minutes and counting.

The nearest repair station is only a few minutes away- just off I-30 at Bobtown road.

Ike Heinlein, spaceman

With the saucer's cloaking device now repowered, Ike's saucer disappears. He continues to watch for any additional security vehicles.

[Urson]

The nearest suggested source for tires and rims is a small-time scrapyard. There are 3 tires that will fit SamanEric's truck, plus an oilpan that looks like it's the right type.

For best results, the truck will need 10 replacement tires and rims. (two for the front, plus two sets of duals per side for the rear)

Meanwhile the man keeps loading checking occasionally the progress of the transport.

"Found a few tires, and an oil pan. Going to site two, down I-30, now."

"Anyone know how many tires do we need at a minimum to get moving? 6?"

[Urson]

The next pair of security trucks is inbound- within 10 minutes.

Well, it was inevitable. Getting back into the car and ducking down out if site the man began working on hacking their programming again.

Ike, spaceman

In the cloaked saucer Ike flies toward the two incoming security vehicles to see what they are and in what formation. One in front of the other, or next to each other?

[Urson]

The two vehicles are very similar to the ones you've already fought. They've obviously come a long way. They're currently on I-30, travelling side-by-side at approximately 60 mph.

Ike will wait until the security vehicles get closer to take action, so as to not hurt civilians.

[Urson]

Wow- sorry about the delay.

The security vehicles make the turn for the off-ramp, tires smoking as they drift into the curve. I'm assuming Ike uses his tractor beam, ripping off the left rear tire of one of the vehicles. It skids, flips, and crashes through the roof of a convenience store, ten-year-old chips and still-fresh Twinkies flying.
