Etruna stares wide-eyed at the features of the impaled frog corpse on the floor realizing the full impact of its existence.

"Such creatures are a blight in the eyes of Mortaya. I must remove this cancer!" Her knuckles white from their tight grip on her sword, she rushes forward, pushing her way past the others, forcing herself into the room.
Etruna gives pause as she drops down into the ice cold brown murky water. It comes to her waist and her feet feel like they sink into mud. About 15' away Rondar and Ankhar fight feriously with another arrow impaled frog. Rondar has dropped his sword (just justifying your miss) and is struggling to keep the creature off him with the use of his shield (the creature missed all its attacks). Ankhar begins to slash repeatedly at the assaulting chaos frog finally exploding one of its bulbous eyes, but Ankhar continues striking the creature until it lies on its back floating in the water dead, the blood of the frog churned with the mud and murk of the water.

After the death of the frog no other enemies or dangers are found in the area.

OOC: sorry if I didn't describe the actions of all but Ankhar's hit killed the creature.

rondar retrives his blade form the water.

"Lets drag this thing to shore Ankhar, there is a chnace it could have swallowed something *ah-hem* important."

once on shore rondar will slice open both frogs to see if they have swallowed any loot.

The half-elf smiles and says "Of course." as he helps Rondar drag the dead creature.

The cleric takes a breath to steady himself, sees what he can retrieve in the way of arrows, and asks loudly, "is everyone okay?"
This is a game about killing things and taking their stuff so you can become more powerful in order to kill bigger things and take even better stuff.

Etruna, feeling a bit foolish entering into the water and muck after the giant frogs have been dispatched by her friends, nonetheless decides to make the most of her situation. She begin examining the details of the room as best she can, looking for anything that might be of value to the party. As she surveys the visible area of the room (ooc: she has infravision), she wades through the water, taking notice of anything that might feel different under the water or in the mud as she walks.

Rondar begins to cut into the frog with less than precise skills of a butcher and makes quite a gooey mess of things. Others watch on hopeful as Rondars claim of hidden treasure fills them with excitement, despite the gruesome scene. Unfortunately, in the end Rondar is left with only bloody slim covered hands.

OOC; no treasure was found wiithin the frogs.

Through the whispers coming from the hall where Rondar performs his exploration and chattering teeth from the cold water Etruna , after some time finds herself in the northern part of the room. On the side of the wall about a foot above the water she see's a cirucular outline in the mud that looks about 3' in diameter. The mud here seems fresher than that of the surrounding wall.

"Can one of your with better eyes than my human ones see where our nature priestess is?" Nuonne asks, trying not to sound worried.

Nuonne, with his torch can see Etruna in the frog room. I made the assumption the party scanned the frog room and no other danger was seen. It takes one turn for Etruna to search the room and for Rondar to cut up the frogs. Everyone is aware of where everyone else is. Fear not Etruna is not in danger for distance from the party.

If rondar is aware of the door he will make his way over and examine it for traps. If he finds none he will attempt to open it.

Etruna yells out, "There's something strange here. Some kind of medium-sized circular outline in the mud on this far wall. It could be an entry portal of some kind."

Rondar inspects the mud pattern but can only shrug at it actually being trapped, it looks like wet mud. Rondar and Etruna are able to start digging and after many minutes you find a wooden circular door the same dimensions of the wet mud with a bronze ring. It looks like a plug of sorts. After checking for traps again, Rondar is able to pull on the ring and with multiple yanks he is able to get it free with a sucking sound.

Beyond is seen:
A small muddy passage which ends in a room with a ceiling 8’ above the floor. In the center of the room are three large chests which rest upon a 5’ x 5’ wooden platform raised 1' above the muddy floor.

rondar will crawl down the passge, he will walk around the edge of the platform checking it for traps or inconsistences.

If he finds nothing he will then take an arrow and poke around the edge of the platform for one last check before stepping on it and approaching the chests.

Rondar is able to look around the chests and poke and prod as needed with no sign of trap or danger. The chests are bound in brass and look extremely well built. All of the chests are securely locked with iron locks.

As word of the chests spread through the party Halmod and Viscata are very interested and come to investigate, leaving Kraden in the hall. As Halmod is going to depart he asks Kraden if he will be okay?

Nuonne keeps an eye at the entrance watching both the ones at the secret door and the ones behind.

Halmod sheepishly asks Viscata for transport across the water. She grudgingly picks him up and carries him through the cold water to the new found room filled with chests. Once there Halmod begins to assist Rondar in searching for traps and after some time both agree the chests seem benign.
