Part 2: The Roads ahead

"Agreed. Though I doubt there is much evidence left which hasn't been tampered with due to the amount of time which has past, it is a wise choice to at least take a look. We may be able to spot something the villagers have not. Then, as Rician said, we can spend the night at the tavern. I believe the villagers may be closed lipped about the occurrences here but some ale may ply their lips to talk more freely."

Pheras follows the group around without really seeing the road or even knowing where they are headed, he seemed to be in deep thought.

Mathias chimes in. "Since we are in the midst of another full moon, we should plan on being ready for another attack. Then we can move forward to root out this evil."
Re: Part 2: The Roads ahead
Krakus- Yes we should look at the houses. My throat was getting parched. I will have some water then.

Re: Part 2: The Roads ahead
Presently if i am not entirely mistaken Crow/Canis is presently gathering intel from folks in town solo. Some of you are considering going to both of the attacked homes to try and gather information/clues/evidence and the rest of you would like to go to the tavern or rest is that correct?

I was under the assumption that the party was all together? I must of missed that part. Krakus will go to the tavern and gather information from the patrons there.

Re: Part 2: The Roads ahead
Canis/Crow separated from the party a while ago actually the rest of you were half for tavern and sleep the half for searching the houses. Crow was the only one that appeared to want to walk around and investigate/question folks.

Re: Part 2: The Roads ahead
I can speed some of this up for you all.
Investigating the houses reveals a grim scene both homes the doors are smashed in there is lots of blood in various places on the floor and walls and looks as if something was dragged out or many somethings or someones were dragged bleeding from both homes though the blood is dried up nobody cleaned the homes. There are deep claw marks in the walls and most all material belongings are still in the houses though smashed and upturned in places much out of place you can tell something or things have brutally smashed their way into these homes and taken the residents within as either food or hostage. Aside from that there are a few places where small clumps of wolf like fur hare found the residents did fight back though with little effect to the attackers from the results of the place.
Aside from that if you wish to seek more information from folks in the town or go to the tavern or rest that can all be done. If seeking to make traps you are all in luck the town does have a couple local men that are trappers by trade. Quite skilled in the making of traps though you may be needing help from the smiths to get them made of silver.

Re: Part 2: The Roads ahead
Krakus- Do we want to talk to the trap makers. Maybe if we talk to Rethor we can at least protect the other Townsfolk from being attack if we help protect there homes. The townsfolk would have to give up some there silver to help make the traps. Krakus looks to others to see if they have any additional ideas.

What sort of traps would work on werewolves?

Local Trapper 1 "Mostly we know how to make bear traps." he holds up the trap they are familiar with making and using.

Re: Part 2: The Roads ahead
Krakus- We could dip them in silver. To protect the town we put pit traps under the windows with silver headed tips. We would need to collect all the silver from town. We need ask to have Rethor to do this.

Re: Part 2: The Roads ahead
Pheras is intrigued, where he came from, hunting was a daily chore but he never really went out to hunt with the rest, he never learned about making traps and such, "How would we hide the traps? And what are the places that they will be most beneficial?"

Krakus- We would hide traps with sticks or a rug with camouflage, leaves, & dirt.

If that don't work there might be some of the folk that manage the road and ditches willing ta dig if yer willin ta pay."
