Re: Part 2: The Roads ahead
Canis(Crow) falls in line heading down the road leading to North Vale with Rethor
Probably best to get there and figure out just what is going on with these possible werewolves.

Re: Part 2: The Roads ahead
Onwards! Rethor continues on and leads you to his town. As he leads you to North Vale the forest thins out a bit nothing looks unusual before you the buildings come into view. To the north of the town is lake Sombrine the town is a bit quaint but appears to be quite a place. As you reach the town you do notice that there are a couple empty boarded up homes. Rethor speaks up "Those are the homes of the folks that have been taken away by the strange wolfmen or werewolves as we call em."

Pheras asks with a low shy voice, "Who was the most recent victim out of them all, and who witnessed the actual attack?"

Re: Part 2: The Roads ahead
Rethor So far none have been attacked and survived. Witnesses so far have been mainly guards or in one case the hermit that lives up by the lake just north of the road we are on. Other than that there was a drunk man that swears he saw one of the attacks. So far even those that have been attacked there is just lots of blood and the bodies are gone dragged off or otherwise. The first two encounters are the two abandoned homes over that way. " he points towards the eastern side of the town near the outskirts. the abandoned house on the map is the first place. "None left of that family a father two sons and the wife. All vanished or killed and dragged off." Rethor shudders when he speaks of it he was the first guard on duty to come upon the scene. "Blood everywhere in the house it was a gruesome scene."

Re: Part 2: The Roads ahead
Arastor looks over at Rethor, "Have all the abductions been investigated? And by how many?" Arastor wonders to himself if it would be worth his time to attempt to track the dragging of the abducted or if there would be too much disturbance in the ground.

Re: Part 2: The Roads ahead
Outside of the house there are prints like an over-sized wolf walked on its hind legs off in the direction of the woods and another similar set where it must have come in from the woods. There is no blood trail to speak of as it has been days since this all went down but it looks like there is no drag trail the bodies were either eaten whole or were carried not dragged. one set of prints does go deeper than the other so that is the more plausible scenario. Oddly there are a few sets as if the creature came and went a few times, that or there is more than one creature.
Rethor speaks up "The first encounter happened about a ten day ago most of the blood has dried up in the house and any sign of blood trail was washed away by the rains. I and one of my fellow guards tried to investigate the encounter but with no witnesses of a sober state did not make it easy. Aside from that the trail leads off into the woods deeper and we having only a small number of guards did not wish to continue off into the deep woods. What is stranger yet the prints where we did follow them to looked as if they turned back into the bare feet of a man."

Re: Part 2: The Roads ahead
Canis(Crow) stands by the group, looking over the prints and taking a cursory glance into the abandoned house. When asked if Rethor can lead the group to the site that the tracks seemed to change he will walk back to the group proper and wait for the guide to move on.
