Craw takes off his backback, looks for another chunk of dried meat and crouches down while he wait for his axe to thaw. He chews peacefully looking at the shattered mutated creature body as it starts to melt. Finally he shakes his head. "...well, not today" and with a bit of struggle he is back on feet again, pawing his axe and heading for the corridor outside the room.

"Do you see anything, master dwarf?" He says as soon as he reaches Adrik.

"Let's go West," Erevan suggests.
These are ghouls. They hang out in graveyards, they have long tongues, and they eat people.
"Oh, well, that could be helpful!"

Craw waits for the others to gather out of the room. But before moving "Erevan" he says "what about that foul liquid in the waterskins?" he pauses as if considering something "...do you think its flammable?"

"Why, Craw," Erevan says. "I believe you have a hypothesis. The beetles in question might be fire beetles, and as such, their bodily fluids are flammable. Or is it inflammable? The words mean the same thing, you know. Let us find out then, shall we? Do you have a torch?"

Waiting for the others, Adrik hears Craw call out and replies. "Nothing to be seen here but for the tunnel heading north and two branching off passages. Looks like one going east while the other west."

"I do have one" says Craw following Erevan back to the press room and pulling a torch out of his backpack. "you hold it, master mage. I'll go fetch one of the water skins and pour its content on the floor"
He gets close to one of those and tries to dislodge it with a grunt.

"Excellent, good Craw," Erevan says as Craw produces a torch then pours the beetle juice on the floor. "I haven't any tinder. If I can borrow some of yours, I'll be happy to take the risk of lighting the fluid. Unless you'd rather," he adds with a devilish grin.

"I'll let you do the honours..." says Craw wiping a couple juice drops off his boots and handing Erevan the tinder.
"...always a wizard to take care of the fireworks" he mutters.

"Indeed," Erevan says. He strikes the tinder to light the torch. Once it's lit, he'll lower it into the beetle juice, to see what happens.

Adrik, watches with amazement as the two men play around with beetle juice. "Hurry the heck up!" Crouching against the passage, and deep within its shadows, he keeps an eye and ear forward for any unwelcomed strangers.

The juice from the beetle fails to ignite but as the heat from the flame burns off the liquid into steam, the smell becomes unbearable forcing those around it to begin hacking and retching.

Re-laaaahh! It appears--blecccch! that this could prove useful after awwwwwll, Erevan theorizes between barfs.

He then backs away from the fowl stench, urging others to do the same.

"Sso mhluu...uch for the fireworks! Eurrrgh... " Craw backs away, his face suggesting both pain and discontent. He slowly turns back leaving Erevan to any further conjecture about the steam. "Your call, Erevan... I'll get back to the front line" says grabbing his backpack, pulling off an axe and heading for Adrik in the tunnel.

Erevan stomps out what he can of the flames, then follows Craw and Adrik.

The passageway splits into three directions from where you stand. One passage continues forward from where you stand and appears to branch into two separate passages about 15 feet past your current location. From the passage to the immediate left, the smell of something burning floats lightly on the near non-existent breeze.

"Shall we go left?" whispers Craw to Adrik and the others. His stomach grumbles as if agreeing.

Erevan tries to determine what's burning by the smell. Any particular die roll required?
