any budding Raistlins' or Tassellhoff's out there?
If you build it I will come.
Dragonlance is my all time favorite setting. Bar none! Everything I do always has a wee bit of DL in it. I love their races to death. Just the whole feel of it screams "perfect" to me. Can't get enough if it.
So yeah. I'm in.

What do you have in mind for the campaign? I really want to get into a spacey campaign.
I hadn't put much thought into it with the Aftermath campaign trying to get off the ground. But with that off the table, I might put more thought into this if we can get more interest.
Would there be any interest in a West March-style campaign (wilderness exploration-heavy, possibility for multiple parties sharing the gamespace) using Torchbearer? I have a couple of players that are interested, and with a couple more I'd be willing to give it a shot.
I re-watched Captain Kronos: Vampire Hunter yesterday, so now I want to play a swashbuckling vampire/witch hunting game with folk magic... Not that I have the time on my hands right away.
Also, there is the question of system. 7th Sea would be the obvious choice, but I have no experience with it.
Star Frontiers is an ok game - a free ruleset is always good, but it is clunky and the gane universe is average. X-plorers is a good free 0e clone and has starship combat something Core SF does not - that comes in another product. Microlite can do space is a snap, which is d6lite.
Want great space opera - crazy clunky rip off system - but damn cool -
Battlelords by the fine folks over at SSDC. Guns,Armor,Mechanized War Machines,Magic,Psionics,Squids,Space Samurai,Redneck Space Rabbits ....I digress
I like Humanspace Empires a lot and it is free as well.
I think there are better ganes that do space better than Star Frontiers - but sometimes you want to play a game just to play it - regardless of it's drawbacks.
Other Space Game suggestions
Ravenstar
Savage Words - Sci Fi
D6 Space or Septimus
Fading Suns for a Dune meets Vampire The Masquerade feel
Oh or Alternity - wonder if those books are free nowadays in PDF.

Smaug has been defeated, the Battle of Five Armies has been won, and Bilbo has returned to the Shire. But much danger still remains, and from the Orc-holds of the mountains to the dark and corrupt depths of Mirkwood a darkness waits, recovering its strength, laying its plans, and slowly extending its shadow…
I've always wanted to play this I really love the way they handle travel, character creation, and advancement it's some really neat stuff.
I am a huge fan of William Mcausland's art, and I own every book in the mutant epoch series. Its game mechanics are a bit clunky and require some rulings at the table from time to time on the GM's part. But with a capable GM and some one that is familiar with the post apocalypse genre it would be a great game for the forums. My vote would be for a Mutant Epoch game.

Reading Wolverine and the X-Men--I ran a really fun freeform X-Men school game once, it'd be cool to use FASERIP to do a mutant academy type game sometime. Tack that onto my ever-growing To-Do List, I guess!

I also agree that of all of the classic D&D settings, Dragonlance has always held a special place in my heart. If this takes off, please let me know.
