Is it wrong that this game has the second most topics (19) out of any game hosted here on the website... and it was launched less than 24 hours ago?
None of the actual "adventure" threads have been created yet so that number will only keep growing.

I think it just gives an interesting insight into your personality - borderline OCD, perfectionist etc etc - so only stuff we already know about you!

You just keep on pushing my love, over the borderline...

Re: (Almost) Anything Goes
So... With just the information posted so far, does anyone have any ideas about what they want to play?
I'm fairly flexible, though if I had to pick least favourite classes, it would magic-users and clerics. But at least I'd play them. Don't think I'd ever intentionally roll up a paladin or an illusionist.

The cavalier, or paladin if the latter's rules change enough to make it preferable.Alethan wrote:So... With just the information posted so far, does anyone have any ideas about what they want to play?

Re: (Almost) Anything Goes
I dont know what I want to play.
I find that I usually stay away from clerics or magic users so I may want to play one or the other to stretch myself.
Or a druid could be fun.
I often think about how classic it would be to play a paladin, but these days I think always being lawful good may be too restrictive.
I dont know......
I will be a human something.

Re: (Almost) Anything Goes
I've already created partial halfling mage/thief and im past the point of no-return on changing it now.
Re: (Almost) Anything Goes
Just a quick FYI... the Paladin will remain a sub-class of the Fighter (not Cavalier) and will remain largely unchanged from what appears in the 1E PHB (pages 22-24).onlyme wrote:The cavalier, or paladin if the latter's rules change enough to make it preferable.

Even without the details on either class posted yet?Stonjuz wrote:I've already created partial halfling mage/thief and im past the point of no-return on changing it now.
Elven Druid/Mage, Human Barbarian or Cleric/Thief of a yet to be determined race are my current thoughts.
I guess I should roll some numbers and see what happens.
Re: (Almost) Anything Goes
Nuke66, your rolls have been moved to the 'Character Sheets' thread.

I just added the details for the Fighter class and hope to have the Fighter sub-classes done shortly.Nuke66 wrote:I want to see the class details.

Re: (Almost) Anything Goes
Class details havent been filled in yet of course...but im sure ive given the others enuff to know who Shannigans is (or will be). So unless dmw says magic users have to stand on one foot to cast, and that thieves require platinum tools and silver boots or something else crazy like that, he is set in race and class.Nuke66 wrote:Even without the details on either class posted yet?Stonjuz wrote:I've already created partial halfling mage/thief and im past the point of no-return on changing it now.
Barbarians hate magic users yes?, if we have a zealot barbarian in the group then the little guy may turn tail but other than that....
Re: (Almost) Anything Goes
Unless the magic user is missing a leg, I think it's safe to assume they can use both legs when casting spell.Stonjuz wrote:So unless dmw says magic users have to stand on one foot to cast, and that thieves require platinum tools and silver boots or something else crazy like that, he is set in race and class.

I am working on the Barbarian class as I write this, and the rule preventing them from associating with magic users is being relaxed a bit. The full details will be available shortly.Stonjuz wrote:Barbarians hate magic users yes?, if we have a zealot barbarian in the group then the little guy may turn tail but other than that....

Re: (Almost) Anything Goes
Ok I am going for a paladin. After playing a half orc with an attitude I want to try something totally different.
Either it will work or I will ruin another good characters soul.

Hey, nothing wrong with an ex-paladin fighter with a few character flaws!Computer +1 wrote:Ok I am going for a paladin. After playing a half orc with an attitude I want to try something totally different.
