Just so you guys are aware, if I don't recieve any responses within 4-5 days, I will make horrible stuff happen. That vehicle with the trapped family inside, its about ready to explode killing them all. The gang of thugs just around the corner in the alley behind you, they think they can get the drop on you. And if you just stand around looking at the pretty flames around you, they will!

Oh and *cough* your current actions are being recorded live on television in-game. Soooo, with that said, your repute will slowly drop if you stand around and let evil have its way.

could have sworn I made my post on here when I posted for LG...

Raven springs into action, judging by his immediate surroundings to be the most logical threat, that burning car full of people. He teleports towards the car, attempting to pull the door off the car and help anyone trapped in escaping the wreckage.

Maximillian Arikas [Aether] & Steve Sanderson [Flicker]:

Hearing the children screaming for help, they both teleport to the flaming vehicle along with Raven to help get the trapped people out.

Max will use telekinesis to try & rip off doors or remove burning parts.

Raven, Aether, and Flicker are quick to take action as they simultaneously teleport to the burning wreck and rescue the family from the flames. I rolled for all of these actions, including initiative. Fortunately they were all above 50 so they were successes. Raven's rolls went through. The people thank you as they wipe tears of joy from the smoke covered faces, but quickly run off as they are told to get to safety. A helicopter hovering in the distance takes notice of this heroic act and streams the events live to thousands across the city. Your repute goes up 3 points for each of you.

A group of thugs appear shortly after you rescue the family (6 of them). They are clearly pissed off by the fact that you took their fun away and is looking to take their anger out on you three. Wearing basic motorcylce leathers and spikes, they look like your average street thugs, if not for the fact that their skin is pulsating in a green hue right now. Their faces seem to be contorted into a twisted smile as their bodies twitch in random spasms. Chains drag on the floor and iron crowbars are pulled out.

Professor Perryton, clearly out of his element in his war-stricken zone of chaos, starts to take some high ground and navigates the catwalks for a better view of the area. Along the way he calls out to his feathered friends and finds a few pidgeons flying towards his direction, recognizing him from earlier in the park. Permafrost and Scamp accompanies him as he makes his way up, Scamp being on constant alert for any potential threats that would try and jump the old man. His mental surveillence is strong and he picks up a few hostile minds inside the building their catwalk is connected to.

Actions and rolls please, don't forget initiative!

SCAMP listens to the hostile minds in the building. Are they approaching? If they don't seem to be a current threat, the robo-dog will try to redirect one of the thugs' the anger to the other street thugs.

Maximillian Arikas [Aether] & Steve Sanderson [Flicker]:

Max will try to use Telekinesis to cause one of the crowbar wielders to whack another of thugs with it.

If possible Max then would also try to use one of their chains to wrap around one of the wielders to incapacitate them.

Steve would then try to move in on the one incapacitated by the chains wrapped around him/her to try to pummel the thug down.

The Raven begins walking towards the group of thugs, unsheathing his sword slowly and methodically. When the sword is fully unsheathed he will teleport in the middle of the group and swings his sword in a circle, cutting down as many as he can.

Initiative: [1d100+50] = 91+50 = 141, To Hit: [1d100] = 82

WHY CANT LG GET THESE KINDS OF ROLLS!

Okay, here's how it played out. The heroes won initiative and got to act first. Raven's teleport was a success and surprised the group of thugs, giving them little time to react.

The circular sword slice was very effective and dropped two of them. Gusts of air are erupting at this time as crowbars and chains start to attack their users. Three of the thugs, however, manage to strike Raven with a counterattack, dealing a total of 15 blunt damage. 1 thugs is currently in binds and is being pummeled by Flicker to great effect. The thugs psychotic laughing starts to die down as he loses tooth after tooth. For some reason though, the remaining thugs, including the bound one, are still bursting with energy! You see all of them flash a green pulse of light, and after that, one of their comrades picks himself back up from the previous sword slash, dusting himself off with a wide, crazed grin on his face.

Battle Results: Combat Round 1, heroes win initiative. Raven does 40 points of melee damage to all six thugs around him. Two are dropped. Raven takes 15 points of crowbar damage before the crowbars turn on the thugs, dealing 5 points of damage to each. Chains fly forth from a thugs hand and binds him. Flicker does brawn damage of 50 and nearly knocks the thug out. A surge of green light pulses through all of the thugs, and their energy seems to be renewed. A previously defeated thug gets back up.

One thug is bound, but will break loose in next round if you fail to roll a blue success or higher, see master roll chart for details. There are four thugs still standing, and one is currently down.

Actions and rolls please! Note: if you do not provide rolls for your actions, I will roll for you.

Scamp successfully diverts one of the thug's anger to another. Some gunfire can be heard shortly afterwards as well as some angry muffled shouts coming from inside. Using a quick mind sweep, Scamp is able to determine that the thugs were in the process of looting a few rooms and that their search was becoming fruitless and a waste of time. They were all on the edge with the gang war going on. After the gunshots take place, Scamp is able to detect more people coming into the building.

Permafrost helps extinguish some of the fires in the surrounding area, creating a safe path up to the roof. The sounds of people still stuck in a burning building nearby can be heard. They are but only a few windows away, the windows, however, are right in front of the ones that the thugs are nearby. Scamp relays this information before the group makes any decisions. The professor makes his way to the roof and starts to commune with the birds in quick gargles and warbles. If Pulpatoon does not respond for this, I will have his character ask the birds about the surrounding area and to help them secure a safe path to the Rook Industries Power Plant.

Raven coils the muscles in his legs, getting ready to use all of his lower strength to get to the window, attempting to save the civilians from the burning fire, his sword slicing any thugs that get in his way.

Skill Check: [1d100] = 91 - using his size and speed to rush towards the window, hopefully having time to bust through it and find the civilians.

Initiative: [1d100+50] = 43+50 = 93, To Hit: [1d100] = 71 - Cutting down any thugs that get in his way, limb severing and possible decapitations are fine with him, efficiency is his goal.

Maximillian Arikas [Aether] & Steve Sanderson [Flicker]:

Max & Steve will still be busy with the thugs:

Max will attempt to deal with the bound thug first.
Initiative roll: [1d100] = 89
Brawn: [1d100] = 17 + 50 Brawn = 67

Steve will look around for something that could be used to toss at the 4 standing thugs, (a burning vehicle, a chunk of building):
Init roll: [1d100] = 45
telekinesis: [1d100] = 86 + 40 = 126

Upon hearing the screams of help from the people trapped in the burning building, Raven springs forth with a renewed burst of energy and carves his way through the thugs in his way, cutting two down during the process. Raven will reach the building in the next round, assuming he runs the whole way. Aether deals with the bound thug and knocks him unconcious with relative ease. Flicker, looking to put his suit's lifting strength to good use, finds a burning vehicle and hurls it towards the remaining thugs. They lost initiative so they were not able to dodge the flying vehicle. Suffice to say, they are down for the count.

Back up at catwalk and rooftop, Permafrost hears the cries for help as well and starts to concentrate her efforts in dousing the flames, hoping to secure an escape route for everyone. She looks down and notices Raven speeding to her location. She silently nods with a smile, knowing that Raven has her back on this. Scamp, ever on the look out for incoming threats, 'smells' a few thugs heading their way. There is a trashcan nearby that can be used to roll down stairs and the lid can be used as a frisbee. Scamp also catches on to a few of the thug's minds inside. Some of them are seeing Permafrost's heroics through the window described earlier, and they plan on doing something about it.

Professor Perryton's attempts at communicating with the birds proves fruitless at first. Perhaps he is asking the wrong questions? Feeling around his coat pockets, and produces a plastic baggy full of bread crumbs from his shrimp salad sandwich from earlier. Perhaps a bribe will do the trick... (feel free to step in when you are ready Pulpatoon, same goes for you too Tooley).

Actions and rolls everyone!

The windows are partially shattered and can be easily entered if one is not afraid of potentially getting burnt. I will not require a roll for this, but I will require one if you attempt to do something incredibly fantastic. Usually I will let you know when I deem something incredibly fantastic. So far, everything that has happened is well within your character's capabilities.

Cool, I'm going to be bringing him out of his shell a bit more, it's been a bit since he first woke up and the world and everyone around him has been molding him from the blank slate he was.

He will be entering the building and searching for the people

Maximillian Arikas [Aether] & Steve Sanderson [Flicker]:

Assuming the Thugs are down for the count the two fellows will run into the building to assist Raven looking for civilians.

Aether will attempt to telekinese anything blocking civilians from escaping.

Flicker will shrink in order to dodge flaming/fallen debris & assist civilian escape by then growing back to normal size & using his suit & brawn to move things out of the way.

It is safe to assume that with the combined efforts of Permafrost, Raven, Flicker and Aether, all of the people trapped in the burning building are rescued. Some of them are suffering from 2nd to 3rd degree burns, however, and will need immediate medical attention. As you bring them outside and onto the street, you can hear more explosions echo down the neighborhood. The gang war is still in full swing and it looks like the fighting intensified. At this rate, it will take forever to get to the Rook Industries Power Plant.

Professor Perryton finishes his talks with his feathered friends and reports what he learned to SCAMP, and through SCAMP to everyone else. The threat of incoming thugs is still a problem for SCAMP and the Professor though.

Filtering out the Professor's flowerly language and use of complicated words, a short message is created to all of the supers in the group: "My bird friends have spoken of a safe means of reaching the power plant, by air. The streets are too dangerous to traverse alone and the subways are just as so. They don't know about the sewers, but they sometimes see strange creatures coming in and out of that place. The power plant is 4 miles away north east of here."

At the mention of the professors words Raven looks towards Elsa for a moment, looking back to the bird talker he asks in his usual calm and emotionless tone, "How will you all fly."
