Krakus - Grabs the 1/2 Orc and puts in a chair at a empty table. Your friend looks he had a little too much to drink. I am Krakus. I am looking to find a quest that will test my skills as a warrior of the Skullfire Clan.

Canis(Crow) looks over at the barbarian and passed out Half-orc, he looks to the others at the table before looking back at the barbarian, "We don't know him" He looks back to Rician and Arastor, "Do we?" he seems genuinely confused.

Horton speaks up about that "Actually I think he was one from that fellow Robin's crew. Last I recall someone said he wanted to join the crew that took down Galyn. So I guess he is with you fellas now."

One of the "working" girls comes to the banister at hearing and seeing the half-orc she smiles and speaks up as well "Yeah he just kept talking about how he was going to be a real hero now. I couldn't get him to stop talking about it so I kicked him out of my chamber and he just sat there and drank all night waiting for you three."

Arastor looks to Canis and Rician, a very puzzled look on his face. After hearing Horton and the "working" girl, a look of sour distaste crosses his face. "Whoever heard of a 1/2 orc bard?" A moment passes before Arastor turns to Pheras. "Arastor is my name. Do not take my quiet demeanor personally; I prefer the coolness of the woods to the stifling realms of society."

Canis(Crow), "We'll see how useful an Orcish bard is." he takes another sip from his wine glass. he glances over at the dwarf, the only one who hasn't joined them. He then looks over Krakus, "Call me Canis. Traveler and apparent bandit slayer."

just FYI to one and all ...
I have a mule grazing in whatever field he wandered off to and a cart parked near a tree at the edge of town ... where I untied the mule before coming to the tavern.
I intend to let the character sleep for about an hour and then wake up sober ... he has a fairly high tolerance for alcohol ... mother's milk and all that.
Ref ... a heads-up when an hour has passed, please.)

"Nice to meet you Arastor. True, nothing is better than feeling the cool breeze amidst the tranquil trees, I miss it everyd-", Pheras stopped talking because of the commotion caused by the half orc. After thinking carefully about it, he spoke, "Do you need any help carrying him?"

Just then a townsman enters the place "Someone left a cart and mule loose in the northern side of town. Don't spose it belongs to any of you?" the man asks he looks like a local stable hand. "We managed to corral it and get the mule and cart back to the stables safely."

Krakus - I guess I can do that. But he smells like my old uncle Bworg. Stale ale and Bad gas. Is there a river or creek somewhere near? Maybe we will roll him with cart right into it. He lets out a big laugh.  !!

As some of the others discuss bathing the half-orc a strange man that somehow gives you all a sense of importance perhaps. He enters the inn sees what is going on and reaches into his pocket and produces a scroll of sorts. unrolls in and places it on the table before everyone. Motions for everyone to come near. He waits for anyone interested to come over to the main table that Arastor, Canis, & Rician originally were/are sitting at. "Adventurers, heroes, mercenaries alike. I have come here with this contract to seek those interested in some coin and a quest to help me. I come on behalf of North Vale the town north of here. We have had terrible troubles with wolves that walk like men and are as tall as a man. The come at night when the moon is full and kill anyone outside of their home after dark. We've lost at least eight of our folk and have lost more inexperienced that have tried to hunt down these creatures. Be any of you brave enough and bold enough to take on this quest?"

Canis(Crow) Looks over to the man, "Sounds like a pack of werewolves. Do you think you can afford the cost for people to go up against such creatures?"

In response the man quickly sets down a small belt pouch its strings are loose and it opens to reveal 200gp "It is not a lot but it is all my village was able to gather to offer 200 gold. Plus we may have free rooms at the inn if you require them."
