OOC: Rondar has already made it back to shore.

I will scout ahead while the rest of you rest up.

OOC: Oops, my bad. I misunderstood and thought maybe Rondar had reached some opposite shore. Edited my post to correct the inaccuracy.

"I have some hurts, but nothing that precludes moving forward. Though if we need to stop for a bit, perhaps going back..."

"In the boat?" Nuonne asks bemused.
This is a game about killing things and taking their stuff so you can become more powerful in order to kill bigger things and take even better stuff.
Alethan: I'm good with NOT pressing our luck this time.
mjulius: That's how I know I'm home.
Pulpatoon: The whole point of PbP is to take the scheduling pressure off the game. We're just chatty because we're so eager!
Scott308: ...everyone should be reminded of just how wonderful the people they play games with here can be in real life.
Leitz: Quality and quantity wise, I think US is the best I've seen.
Paladin: I can promise terror, glory, and riches...or a quick and brutal death.
Inferno: Come on! That's was Vicar's Head, a completely different doomed village!
Rex: I can move to the wait list to let someone else into the game.

Rondar, where exactly do you with to go? In the boat? You think you could probably operate it by yourself with some difficulty. In the past you have had some experience with such boats.

There is a passage to the north and one back to the east as well.

"I think we should use one of the sleeping rooms that were near where we laid the oil trap," Etrun suggests, "Unless someone has a better location. Those who are not hurt nor have no need to refresh their prayers or magic can stand guard."

perhapsthe party can hole up in room 8b so there is only 1 entrance. Rondar will then scout south down the tunnel.

With what you all have written above I assume you go to the swampmen sleeping quarters (area 8) and set a watch and rest. While Rondar scouts the passage that goes south from the east side of area 8?

Solinor may correct me if I'm mistaken but I think Ankhar is unhurt.

He will memorize the same spells again.

The party settles in to rest in the damp and smelly sleeping quarters of the swampmen. Watches are set and those resting try to get comfortable. It is difficult to find rest and the images of recent battles fill closed eyes and the feeling of ever present danger is disquieting. The suffering of Kraden is palpable and it is wondered if he is going to make it, though no one speaks this aloud.

OOC:
I need to know what are the watches and who is in what room. There are four beds to each room. You are all pretty much muddy and dirty at this point, could almost pass for swamp people yourselves. :)

I am going to handle Rondars scouting in PM.

OOC: Anyone else hurt? If not, I'll use the last CLW on myself! :)

[1d8] = 8

Excellent for me, unless someone else needs it, then excellent for them! :D

"Kraden needs to sleep the full night," Nuonne offers, "if Kraden takes one bed, and we bring in another bed, then two can watch for two or three hours at a time. While 4 (5 including Kraden) rest. I only ask that I have the first or last watch to ensure my supplications to Dyleus are offered with proper piety."

Viscata offers to take the majority of the watches, making sure she gets enough rest to face the next days challenges.

Kraden makes sure to give the longbow and arrow that Nuonne dropped back to the cleric. "May Dyleus guide your aim, if you have need..." He tries his best to conceal his pain but knows that he is not doing a very good job of it.

The ranger is thankful for the other's support but still worries that in his disabled state that he represents a liability to the others... and the mission. Although Kraden has never been a religious man, the severity of the situation is upon him and he finds himself muttering silent prayers between the spasms of pain that rack his young body.

During your rest period, the approach of another giant snake causes a stir which wakes everyone in its passing. But it doesn't threaten anyone and continues on it ways towards the muddy pool room. There are no other encounters and spells are recovered.

"Snakes. Why'd it have to be snakes?" Nuonne shivers. :D
