Part 5: Caves, Slaves and Finer Things?
Re: Part 5: Caves, Slaves and Finer Things?
Lubidius flinches in pain and snarls angrily at the Ogre who struck him; swinging back with his enchanted blade; hoping to finish the big brute off this time....

Re: Part 5: Caves, Slaves and Finer Things?
Since I am not entirely what is going on for Talmor I'll just npc him for now.
Eirik attacks the same target from last round.
DM Roll for Eirik [1d20+5] = 18+5 = 23 [1d8+5] = 4+5 = 9
Summary under way feel free to post your round 6 plans if a target is dead I will just have your targets changed.

Re: Part 5: Caves, Slaves and Finer Things?
Gandrel switches to picking off the slave guards with arrows. He'll pick the target that minimises chance of hitting the slaves:
Sheaf Arrow Hit [1d20+3] = 19+3 = 22 Dam [1d8] = 2
Sheaf Arrow Hit [1d20+3] = 8+3 = 11 Dam [1d8] = 5

Re: Part 5: Caves, Slaves and Finer Things?
Neev will take another swing at Orog 4 and hope the cool air he's blowing doesn't rejuvenate his foe.
Morning Star to Hit: [1d20] = 1 Damage: [2d4] = 4 / [1d6+1] = 1+1 = 2
Whelp... this has to be the most relaxing combat the orog has ever been in. lol.

Re: Part 5: Caves, Slaves and Finer Things?
Neev gets distracted by a random thought that he cannot fathom why it came to him in mid battle and he looses focus missing the orog. But Neev thinks back to that strange chest and what Theodore saw he begins to blush realizing he is thinking of pretty fair maidens in little else but their underwear.
Fumble/Crit Miss roll % = 16%
13 – 18
Distracted
Your attention is unfocused by a glint of light, a sudden sound, or a random thought.

Re: Part 5: Caves, Slaves and Finer Things?
Alanis looks over the enemies, now that his flame sphere is gone he whips out his magical wand! Proudly spouting off some foolishness, "Vescere bracis meis" as he points the wand at the group of creatures!
Nice! Another one.
Alanis Rod of Wonder: [1d100] = 43
37-46 Lightning bolt (70 ft. long, 5 ft. wide), 6d6 damage (Reflex DC 15 half)
A blinding stream of lightning shoots forth from the wand at the grouping of Ogre, Orc, and Orog!!
Rod Lightning Bolt: [6d6] = 18

Re: Part 5: Caves, Slaves and Finer Things?
Lubidius; hissing in pain a bit; moves away from the dead Ogre and sheathes his sword and pulls his Bow. He then attempts to move to a good position to shoot at the orcs guarding the prisoners....
(OOC; if I can get to such a spot this round; is it possible to hold an attack while aiming; to increase the chance that I DON'T accidentally hit a poor prisoner?)

We're just awaiting Dune and Eirik from the looks of it. I am guessing I need to search for a replacement player for Eirik.

With a Veni, Vidi, Vici, Dune fires the wand again at Ogre not targeted by lightning.
