Re: Part 1: The Village With No Name
Canis(Crow) will lean on the wall of the adjacent eastern wall, near the corner, as Shay listens from the western door. He will listen down the eastern hallway to determine if he can hear anything from there.

Re: Part 1: The Village With No Name
Canis hears something on the other end of his wall. Shay does not hear anything coming from the room. Canis can hear someone or something moving around trying to apparently be silent but not doing so overly well as one of Canis's skill would manage.

Re: Part 1: The Village With No Name
Canis(Crow) motions for the others to follow him silently, he then creeps up towards the door leading to the room he heard the noise in, slowly moving the door handle to check if it is locked.
If so he will attempt to pick the lock as quietly as he can.
Crow Pick lock: [1d100] = 27
Once that is done he will again motion for the others to get ready, readying their slings/arrow/spells before standing off to the side of the door and swinging it open from the side so that he won't be caught in another trap like the inn. Once the first barrage of missile/magic is thrown he will head in himself, looking for Galyn.

Rician guarding the prisoner Cannibal, Arastor guarding the only exit of the house. Zylax, Canis and Shay. ready to strike. Canis opens the door to a room lit by a lantern on a dresser. Sees Galyn or the man he hopes is Galyn digging through a chest next to the bed.

Canis(Crow) signals Shay and Zylax to let loose their volley, when that is done he will charge in himself, thrusting his sword towards the bandit leader.
Crow Broad Sword, To Hit: [1d20] = 14, Damage: S/M[2d4] = 5, L[1d6+1] = 3+1 = 4

Just need Zylax to do his attack of opportunity.
Galyn didn't stand a chance.

Re: Part 1: The Village With No Name
Just need a roll for Zylax but it's throwing a dagger I'll just toss in the roll.
Zylax Dagger throwing [1d20] = 16 hit [1d4] = 3 dmg
Just in the first surprise rounds the three of you fell Galyn. He lies dead leaning over the chest he was digging through. Shortly after Pilanor comes up the stairs and looks to Galyn's slumped body and the three party members Shay, Zylax and Canis. Hw then hands each of you 10 gp. Then proceeds to search Galyn's home.

Re: Part 1: The Village With No Name
In the chest after shoving the dead body off with out a care Shay finds a Spell Book or at least the book looks a lot like one to her. There also is something that shimmers in the chest looks like jewelry and upon digging in under some blankets sure enough there is an amulet. There also is a small sack in the chest.
General look of the over all room.
Behind the door is a large bedroom with all the necessary furnishings, including a large rug, bed, desk, couch and a wardrobe with an opened door and the chest. A fireplace holds glowing embers. The room’s only window is closed and of course the dead man Galyn lies on the floor.

Re: Part 1: The Village With No Name
Canis(Crow) approaches Shay as she digs through the chest, spotting the amulet she finds he comments, "Is that the supposed amulet of charisma? I would ask that I take that, I will need proof of what has been done here." He looks to Shay for acknowledgment, not wanting to all of a sudden seem rude.
He also adds the 10g given to him to his pouch.

Re: Part 1: The Village With No Name
Pilanor rustles around the other rooms on the second floor then sounds or cursing from the room he is in. He comes back out looks at the three again and hands another 20 gp for the other two still outside of the house. "Give that to yer friends outside. Feldryk sends his regards and thanks for ridding the town of Galyn."

Shay senses an ulterior motive in Canis's actions but hands over the amulet anyway. She will be glad to get out of this strange place if all of the offenders have been eliminated.

Canis(Crow) pockets the amulet and gives Shay a slight bow of thanks, He then heads downstairs, helping the others carry anything of value for the rest of the group to inspect.

Re: Part 1: The Village With No Name
Well to round this all out The gang has been defeated with the leader dead. Whomever has not been killed leaves the village, to go back to whatever life they had. Cannibal is held as a prisoner by the party. The leaders home is ransacked by Pilanor nobody ever did find out what he was looking for. The town is now living with out fear of the gang. Robin and his men move north to help the next place in need of aid. Leaving the town in the hands on the new adventurers group. Zylax, Shay, Canis, Rician, and Arastor. Feldryk has his mercenary Pilanor pay the party 10 gp each. Letting them take whatever they wish from Galyn's home, aside from whatever it was he was searching for. Pilnor left the home looking quite pleased and heads back to Feldryk's church. The group is left in town to do as they wish.
Everyone gets enough XP to get to level 2 for their class.

Re: Part 1: The Village With No Name
We ending it here as previously discussed?
Canis(Crow) keeps the amulet pocketed, He thanks the group for their help if ridding the town of the filth before heading out. he walks towards a house, soon leaving everyones field of vision, what happens next seems to startle everyone as Canis does not emerge from the other side of the house, instead a Half-Orc strides out and continues heading towards the edge of town, towards the south.
We had a rocky start there and I believe lost those who we needed to lose. I wouldn't be opposed to continuing but we did all decide to end the module here. Up to you all, Crow would leave to report the mission being done either way.
But if he received another mission that was coincidentally where the group met up again... Well...
