Re: OOC/Leave of Absence
Just as a quick note: I don't intend to play Lubidius as a Super-Paladin or anything (he's a Thief after all); but he is NG; and as a personal note killing prisoners or otherwise helpless foes (those asleep from a Spell; etc.) that nobody actually saw do anything really bad was always something that I think Good aligned characters just don't do. (Another good reason for playing CN or N when wanting to play the classic "Let's kill things and take their stuff!" kind of characters!
)
I just wanted to throw that out there so that people know I'm not trying to re-start endless alignment arguments; just my small bit for RPing.......I'm definitely NOT trying to be a dick!

Re: OOC/Leave of Absence
I thought it was quite fitting and looking at Alanis's alignment he might have just altered his alignment with the actions.

Ahh, using an old movie trope, i see, actually, knocking someone on the head / back of neck does not really knock them unconscious!!!
It's probable but mainly you just injure & or temporarily stun.
Re: OOC/Leave of Absence
Well yeah.....in game where violence is as abstract as D&D and where blackjacks/saps have a mechanic to knock people out; and there's 'hitting with the flat of the sword' (which in real life is pretty dumb for any number of reasons); etc. to cause 'temporary damage'; I figure going with the ol' cinematic "smack to the head" to knock somebody out isn't unreasonable!

Re: OOC/Leave of Absence
To be honest I don't really like the idea of set alignments. I don't really follow them at all, my characters are usually just labeled as neutral for that exact reason, saves time.
I play a character off of their personality, I have so far played Alanis as insane, for reasons that have not been said. He had another break and acted on it.
I don't take any offense to you or anyone, we're all just roleplaying our characters.

Re: OOC/Leave of Absence
Hey all,
I'm going to need to take a break for a bit from the game. Work is crazy busy, and they blocked this site for our network. They'll probably lighten up in a few weeks and/or I won't be working 12 hour days and dread looking at my laptop when I get home.
Hope to see y'all in a bit!

Re: OOC/Leave of Absence
Well Talmor is away for a bit and MW has been sort of non-existent in a majority of his games soo i am at a point where I know the game is a lot closer to the end point unfortunately you all have a lot of fighting awaiting before then and me NPCing multiple PC's is going to annoy the heck outta me. So I can keep things moving along but I'd like to at this stage take a break for this week and pick things back up on September 22nd if that is good with everyone else.
