Re: Out of Character Discussions (OOC):
Make sure you all add to your magic items that you have 1 Potion of Healing!
Also add 1 wool winter cloak, 1 waterskin & 1 backpack, for each one of you.
The three, 50 feet of Silk Rope, the grappling hook, & climbing gear are in a saddle bag.
You all now will have 9 days of iron rations.
Some of the iron rations are split into the other 2 saddle bags, a third saddle bag now has 13 days of food for the pack mule.

Re: Out of Character Discussions (OOC):
The experience points for the first Boar was 160. Do we divide that by the number of our party and share it? Or do we all get 160 points each? How should be edit our char sheets?
Re: Out of Character Discussions (OOC):
Normally i wait until the XP is enough to have party members actually Level-Up before i add it up & divide it up evenly among the players.NeoPlasmaVice wrote:The experience points for the first Boar was 160. The full 280 XP for both boars would be split evenly to 28 eXperience Points per player, including Oddgar, right now.

I like this method actually. I'll hold off on doing any XP until you give the word Pyro.PyroArrow wrote:Normally i wait until the XP is enough to have party members actually Level-Up before i add it up & divide it up evenly among the players.NeoPlasmaVice wrote:The experience points for the first Boar was 160. Any response to Cayley's post?
Cauchy wrote:Cayley:
Cayley looks at the bodies, particularly any that are yet to tossed on the pyre, trying to see what the party is up against. She turns to the guard, "Are these goblins or kobolds? I presume they attacked. How many of them were slain? How many defenders were lost?"
She waits for answers to her questions, "Thank you. Please accept my condolences on your losses. May their gods watch over them in the afterlife."
Assuming neither the bard nor she has any other questions she will give a not towards the inn and head that way.
Re: Out of Character Discussions (OOC):
Yes, the guards all simply say basically that there is nothing to see & to move along to the Foamy Mug Inn for your safety.
In the Inn one of the barmaids, right away mentions goblin raids.
Perhaps, you shall get answers in the Inn?!

Re: Out of Character Discussions (OOC):
I have a question about Arn's detect evil ability. Are you ruling this as a detect Evil alignment sort of ability, or detect evil intent/thoughts, or a bit of both?

On P. 44 of the Player's Handbook: An evil alignment or an evilly cursed object will radiate evil.
Now that you bring that up i don't think there is a spell specifically (at least in the Player's Handbook or Unearthed Arcana), that Detects Evil Intent/Thoughts, could always concoct one up!
That would be something for a high level cleric or paladin.
Re: Out of Character Discussions (OOC):
Okay, cool. I've played in games where despite what the PHB said, the DM ran the paladin ability as the opposite, where it only detected immediate intent of harm and that sort of thing. So I was just making sure.PyroArrow wrote:Starbeard wrote:I have a question about Arn's detect evil ability. If the doctor was stranded in this DnD scenario, his memories taken away, you should have named him John Smith instead.
