the invitation was to the group not just one of you.... But I will await the others before adding anything more from NPC's at this time

Canis(Crow) will head inside as well to hear the man out.

Re: Part 1: The Village With No Name
Zylax will go along with the group.
Re: Part 1: The Village With No Name
Thinking it more prudent to stay together, Arastor will follow the group in to the meeting.

Re: Part 1: The Village With No Name
Damn straight Ogre Mage.
The party enters into Feldryk's private room. This is the office and audience chamber for the church. There is a large desk, three chairs, a couch, a shelf of books and a small table with a crystal decanter of wine and 12 pewter glasses. The books on the shelves are a collection of religious books. An astute observer may notice the books are a motley collection covering different religions and themes with no common thread other than religion in geneal. Feldryk sits comfortably on the couch, sipping wine and reading from a stack of tomes. The tomes are entitled: Swords and Daggers: the Art of Weapons Smuggling, Slavery and You: the Business of Smuggling Humans and the Neighborhood “Friend”: A Treatise on the Practice of Protection Rackets. Also laying by the chair is a thick sketchbook filled with sketches of miscellaneous people and places.
Feldryk looks to the party members as they enter the room smiles stands up and offers them some wine. "Would any of you care for a glass of wine?"

Canis(Crow) says nothing and leans against the wall in the back, let the others do the talking for him as he watches everyone.

Pilanor shuts the door after the last party member enters and takes a wall to lean on near Feldryk. Like Crow saying nothing and watching the party member's actions and reactions with a keen eye.

Re: Part 1: The Village With No Name
Feldryk "Galyn and his gang. As I've heard reports you have begun retaking this town and I am pleased to hear that." he pauses sits and motions for anyone else to sit "Sit if you wish I am sorry I don't have more seating." collects the books and removes them from the couch putting them on his desk. He then sits behind the desk. Leaving the couch open for 2 to sit and the 2 other chairs. "Galyn has turned this town upside down. I used to have church service every week and patrons would show up but since he has taken the town I never have service the church is almost utterly abandoned. The town is a ruin compared to what it once was. Townsfolk have left houses unfinished or died trying to put a stop to the gang. I'm glad I was able to hold out if not for Pilanor I don't know what I'd do."

Re: Part 1: The Village With No Name
Feldryk "Yes. I hope you will rid us of Galyn and his gang. From what Pilanor reports you've already taken down a sizable force of his gang. But I suspect that more would come if Galyn remains." he sips some of his glass of wine. "My theory is cut off the snakes head and the body dies. Therefore no Galyn the gang will disperse on it's own without a leader."

Canis(Crow) Speaks up from the back of the room, "What information do you have that we would need to take him down then. We hear he has a power of persuasion, so possibly a wizard or illusionist."

Shay notices the Paladin concentrating on Feldryk and assumes he is checking him for any evil tendencies. If she gets the impression from him that this man is OK, she will help herself to the wine and nod in thanks to her host while she sits and listens intently.

Re: Part 1: The Village With No Name
Feldryk "Well Galyn's home you might not know is the prior elder's home. The town elder whom Galyn killed. Then turned the town upside down and this place is in dire need of saving. Magic the only magic I suspect Galyn uses is in the form of a magical item that makes him more charismatic than normal. His gang members the higher ranking ones carry one magical item each. I'm not sure if you have met the mall but I know you have dealt with at least one of them a half ogre he had a magical mace on him. Cannibal I know not what he has on him and Burl the fellow who was burned in the stables after you feld him wore magical earrings that made him more intimidating. Galyn might have more but I know for a fact he has something that can charm nearly anyone into doing his desire or joining him."

Canis(Crow) nods, "We should grab those earrings then, I will go search for them now at the stables, anyone that wants to come along can. The rest can hear this man out further." He then begins to head for the church entrance.

Re: Part 1: The Village With No Name
Canis is greeted by the personal guard of Feldryk the more heavily armed man. He sees the same few folks out in the church but notices a farmer standing off to the side waiting patiently. He does not remember the farmer being here earlier.
