Re: Out of Character Discussion (OCC):
I am enjoying playing in the game a lot as well! It would be cool to see Pyro in it!
I can't take this anticipation as we wait for the next round of combat... Will Marcus prevail? Will his life get wrekt?!? Find out, next time!

I'd love to have Pyro join us on your game Pulp.

Choe allows Wex to deal with the front -- his attention turns to the rear of their position -- always paranoid
I... I don't think that's paranoia... just....Choe, the transvestite monk, his attention turns to the rear of their position -- always paranoid

Re: Out of Character Discussion (OCC):
Back when i played the game on tabletop, when we searched for something we rolled individually for each 10 feet section we searched, thus there is one 1D6 roll or 2D10 (percentage roll) each, for the floor, the ceiling & however many 10 feet of wall section around that 10 feet of floor was searched & checked.Dizlexus wrote:Choe
Choe helps search for traps IN THE NEXT 10 feet of Cave.
[1d100] = 4
Why are we doing a different roll for every architectural feature we encounter? 6 rolls for 10 feet? What gives?
Still confused?
Example: Mr. Choe (dizlexus) says, i want to search the floor for secret/concealed doors in this 10 ft square (points to map): rolls a 1d6 check, then DM tells him if anything was found.
Then Mr. Choe points to & checks a wall to the right with another 1D6 check, DM tells him the result.
Then Mr. Choe points to & checks a left side wall, rolls the 1D6, DM gives him the result.
Re: Out of Character Discussion (OCC):
Yea when the game started i let you guys just do like one search roll per the 10 ft in order to ease into it, so to speak!GreyWolfVT:
That is how it was requested last time we only did one roll to cover it all.
Re: Out of Character Discussion (OCC):
ok, but I think I hear that you want the searcher to be more specific -- you like the detail so you should have itPyroArrow wrote:Yea when the game started i let you guys just do like one search roll per the 10 ft in order to ease into it, so to speak!GreyWolfVT:

Question...we have been into the cave to the 3 way split and no traps. Lots of foot traffic...should we change order and stop looking for traps and just look for secret doors? Otherwise, we will be here all day and likely run into those that made the footprints.

we might want to be less freaked out by traps so we can move faster -- perhaps try to predict trap placement (intersections are one of those spots)Baramoor wrote:Question...we have been into the cave to the 3 way split and no traps. Sure thing, I will do my best to capture the cautious nature that Baramoor has built for him.
baramoor, hopefully the reason you left does not keep you away from the Unseen Servant and you can watch to make sure I do your character justice

My internet access is limited until sometime tomorrow, due to electrical work that knocked out my cable! So I am borrowing an iPhone when I can.

Re: Out of Character Discussion (OCC):
hey just FYI MW Baramoor informs me Wexley has spikes and a hammer we might be able to pin that door shut.
