I cede control of the paladin to you.

Admittedly that logistically it would seem to stretch credulity* that invitations could be delivered to each of the future party members so that they could arrive at a possibly far away city in time for the wake...I can deal with that. I find it original and am interested to see where it might lead. I mean not every adventure can begin with, "Your sitting in a tavern..."

*I'm pretty sure I don't usually speak like that. :)

Not exactly sure about windows on the Tower, if you look at the front cover there is a tower pictured in the town.

Perhaps in the top part there are openings.
