Mursley, MU
Murlsey is concerned that if we back off we may lose any element of surprise, so votes for staying over in the city.

Aquar, cleric
Looking at the foreboding ruins of the ancient city, Aquar says, "Who knows what evil lurks in these buildings? Only the shadows know."
"Let us rest under clear skies away from orc threat. With recovered strength and spell we will vanquish on the morrow."

Re: IC XII
After a lively debate a consensus is reached to leave the city and return to the comrades they left behind. The plan is put into action, and the companions retreat from the city. After a march of barely two hours -- during which time every effort is made to hide their tracks from inquisitive orcish eyes -- they return to the copse where the maddened men-at-arms await with their bandit guards. The two bandits sit under the shade of a tree, dicing idly, whilst one of the invalids sleeps nearby. The other madman can be seem a short ways off, stark naked, daubing himself with red clay.
The night passes slowly and uncomfortably. No fire is lit, and everyone is on edge against an orcish attack. Several hours after dark the blowing of horns -- harsh and low -- can be heard off in the distance. The horn calls continue on throughout the night, sometimes sounding as if the sounder is just over the next hill, but the adventurer's camp is not discovered.
Yarthmont 12, AC 1000
The next day comes with clear skies.

Anohir, Priest
"Let's set off. Do you think we should bring the madmen? It seems they have reverted to an almost savage state. They could still be useful in a battle."

Aquar, cleric
Seeing Rhys more injured, Aquar brings divine healing (CLW) down on him. Then the cleric sleeps for the night, awakens at dawn, prays for refreshed divine spells, eats, and casts his Cure Minor Wounds orison (1 HP) on himself.

Thurgan, dwarf
"Better watch out for ambushes from them orcs. The crazy guys might give us away if we're trying to be stealthy".

Severi Silvertongue, Elf
"So, the Orcs are likely on alert now. I think that narrow passage will be too dangerous to attempt if its defenders are roused. We should, rather, attempt another building and see if we can take a second group of orcs by surprise."

Mursley, MU
Mursley will learn 2 sleep spells in the morning.
How is Mursley getting on with learning invisibility? Did he get a chance to study last night?

Mursley agrees with this idea.Wyzard wrote:Severi Silvertongue, Elf
