Chapter 5: A Dark Light

Ewat examines the area around and under the bridge. "This's the water? That goes t'the Caves?"

Kormak goes back to his horse and start to cross the bridge.

Mort "Well Ewat we'd better follow or else Kormak is likely to leave without us." Mort gets back on his horse and follows Kormak.

Dungeon Master:

Fr. Tenebaum to Ewat:
"Yes, Ewat, it is."

Sister Opal to Ewat:
"Yes, from what i'm told, it is."

"I've heard stories of it turning Blood Red from time to time!"

"I wonder if it would go well with my Moon Cheese, [Giggle]."

Nothing happens when Mort follows Kormak across the bridge.

Ewat:
Ewat looks after Kormak, and says to Mort, "Where's he goin'? Th' caves'r thisaway." He points up the river.

[Dizlexus]

Mr. Choe,

Mr. Choe rides along happily. He reminds the others, I'm good at finding traps, if it comes up again.

Choe keeps and arrow knocked.

Maya and Victor follow along, crossing the bridge when the group crosses.

Maya: [1d6] = 2, Victor: [1d6] = 5

[Pulpatoon]

Ewat calls up from the riverbed, "Hey! Hey you guys! Where you going? Th' road goes past th' Caves, right? And th' water goes to th' Caves, right? And we're gonna go to th' Caves, right? Shunnint we just ride up th' water?"

Mort shakes his head no at Ewat's comment "Wasn't my plan to ride up the river."

[Pulpatoon]

Ewat: "Wha?"

Then: "Huh?"

Finally: "Oh. Wassyer plan, then?"

Mort back at Ewat "Follow the road a bit further then cut through the woods to the Northwest."

Kormak stops at the other side of the bridge.

In easiest terms looking at the map just a short distance from the bridge the river still hopefully in hearing distance heads just through the woods where they start to somewhat clear out cut through the woods on the east side of the river/stream.

So, is this roughly the Route into the Caves' Valley, that Mort is thinking to take?

Yup that is dead on to what he is planning.

Ewat shrugs and clambers up the opposite bank, meeting the party on the other side of the bridge.

Ok, i will take it that everyone is now at the edge of the forest that goes into the Valley, where i ended the route on the above map??

If so i will start Chapter 6!

As last in line, Idonea rides her horse over the bridge, shooing along anyone who seems to be dilly-dallying.

Ok, Idonea as the last in line to go over the 20 ft long Goblinwater Creek Bridge will end this chapter!
