these rules are great--there's some amazing old-school stuff in there, like elf and dwarf as classes, and alignment languages!

i'll take a spot on the waitlist, if you're still doing that, and if you're ok with a relative beginner (played 2nd ed ad&d years ago, but haven't played a tabletop rpg in many years). i should be able to track down a copy of the labyrinth lord rules or at least the red book basic d&d player...
