Nexus will watch the archer, and wait for him to target someone else, before he throws his two daggers at him, trying to keep as much cover as he can between the two of them.
Realising it is a hard throw at his maximum range he isn’t convinced he can get the orc archer, but hopefully if the creature is distracted he can do so more safely.
If he can hold his action until the end of the round and then fire he will do that. If that’s not a thing he will go on his initiative.
Two total misses at -3 to hit.

Round 13
The orcish archer takes aim and lets a pair of arrows fly in Ardium's direction, but its aim is not true. Not even close. Nexus realizing now is probably his best opportunity, hops out from behind the bush he had been hiding behind and hurls a pair of daggers at the archer. The range proves to be too significant as neither find their marks. The gnome hops back into the bush as best as he can, but definitely has captured the archer's attention.

Feeling freshly invigorated, Jaroo turns his attention towards the entangled orcs, knowing his earlier spell is near its expiration. His caution to avoid entering the snared area himself proves making a successful strike too difficult

The three orcish blades are now focused on individual targets instead of all ganging up on Roderick. The first (blue), wheels around and swipes at August, but the guide is able to deftly avoid being struck. The second, still focusing its efforts on Roderick, also fails to connect as it clearly labors through the prolonged fight. The third, targeting Delgrot, keeps up the tradition of missing as it swings wildly.
Ardium takes advantage of the orc leader facing multiple fronts and connects with a powerful strike! The orcish leader howls in pain, clearly laboring. Delgrot focuses his efforts on the leader as well, hitting it solidly, and leaving the leader in serious distress.
Nearby, Roderick, like the orcish blades, continues to fade as the battle wears on.
The orcish leader, nearing the end of its life, seems to contemplate the risks of remaining in the battle -- and seems to waver briefly -- before sending its massive two-handed blade down at Ardium with great ferocity! The elf screams in pain before everything fades to black.
"Throw down your arms if you want to end this..." the leader howls; apparently now willing to end the battle peacefully.

In the face of the orc leader's demand for a surrender, Roderick engages in a quick analysis of the Virtues. Valor and Honor demand that he fight on. But Humility means accepting when he is beaten, and Compassion may require backing down if it would save lives.
Perhaps the others can surrender. Or if Roderick keeps fighting, maybe they could escape, as Drobo did.
The paladin keeps fighting, aware that this battle may be his last.

Delgrot sends a clear response to the orc leader's offer to end to the battle -- by smashing it with his warhammer! The orc leader howls in pain, begins to teeter, but somehow -- barely -- manages to remain upright.
Nearby, now free from their prolonged period of entanglement, the now unbound orcs ditch their crossbows and produce scimitars, which they use to lash out at Jaroo. The first issues a deep cut across the druid's thigh (-8), quickly rendering the druid unconscious. A second blade cuts through Jaroo's back (-5), just behind the shoulder, as the man of nature collapses into a bleeding out mess.
Unable to keep up his string of recent successes, August fails to connect with his trusty blade in his one-on-one battle against the orcish blade. His opponent is equally unsuccessful.
The orcish blade against Roderick finds its blade tangled in the foliage the Avatar conceals himself in.
The third sword-wielding orc fairs much better; Delgrot, the target of the attack, feels a sharp pain in his gut (-7) before his world goes dark.
Spying the orcish archer creeping forward, Nexus steps out from his cover and watches as the first of the two daggers he flung sinks deep into the orc's shoulder -- killing it instantly.
With Delgrot no longer a threat, the orcish leader wheels around and rushes at August. The hulking opponent, barely clinging to life, flinches in pain as it brings back its massive blade, but fails to connect.
Roderick, aware that this battle may be his last, continues his contest against the orcish opponent... but continues his prolonged string of ineffective attacks.
Only Nexus and Roderick stand with August at this point.

Nexus will hide behind the bush, two daggers ready. If one of the orcs approaches he will fire them off and then leg it.

Round 15
Watching so many of his companions fall during the last round of attacks, Nexus, whose presence may be unknown to the remaining enemies, keeps hidden behind the bush with his daggers ready to be flung at any threat that approaches.
Across the battlefield, in an act of desperation, August jabs out at the orcish leader with his long sword, and celebrates as he feels the tip of his blade slip through the hide of his target! He lunges forward, pressing the blade even deeper!
A gasp, and a howl of pain as the enemy's leader begins to tumble!
The thunderous crash felt as the lifeless form of the orcish leader hits the ground is enough to distract Roderick, whose attack against his opponent sails wide.
Somewhat removed from the main scene of the battle, the orcs, formerly with crossbows, now armed with scimitars, elect different paths for their fates -- one disengages (red) while the other (blue) rushes at Roderick! The paladin, hearing the crunching of leaves from hastily approaching footsteps to his right, is able to wheel around just in time to bring his shield up and around to deflect the slashing blade of an orcish scimitar aimed at his face!
"Hoşgeldin kardeşim! Hadi onu bitirelim!" says the orcish blade, tired of battling Roderick solo for so long. The avatar, fluent in orcish, is able to translate the message: "Welcome, brother! Let's finish him!" Another orcish blade just misses.
In a remarkable turn of events, the battle seems to have turned in the party's favor as only a pair of orcs remain to battle against Roderick, Nexus, and August!

This round Nexus will either throw another two if the fleeing orc still lives and turns to run at the gnome. ([1d10] = 2 : [1d20+2] = 9+2 = 11 : [1d4] = 1 : [1d20+2] = 4+2 = 6 : [1d4] = 3)
Otherwise, if the orc keeps on fleeing he will quietly move closer to the battle with roderick and August, to within 20 feet, and then cast colour Spray encapsulating both the remaining orcs (and probably Rodderick and August potentially.

Nexus, following the progress of those orcs in retreat, spots one of the orcs carrying swords (red) pass his position. The gnome, instinctively, reaches for his daggers -- and finds only one remaining.
Looking to make his last blade count, Nexus steps out from behind the bush he's been hiding behind, takes a few steps towards his target to avoid the maximum distance his dagger can reach, times his release, and watches as his blade twirls towards its mark...
The dagger strikes the orc in the right shoulder protector of the leather armor it wears and falls to the ground. "Nedir?" the orc cries out, halting its retreat, and instinctively reaches with its left hand towards the spot where it had been struck. It pulls its hand away, inspects it, then turns to face the battle it is retreating from, snarling.
A glint of light from the steel of the dagger lying on the ground at its feet catches its eye. It picks up the blade and briefly inspects it.
Gripping the blade of the dagger, the orc throws it angrily towards the ground causing it to stick.
It returns its glare towards the battlefield -- from where the dagger clearly originated -- and appears to be considering its next action.
"Neredesin?" it calls out angrily in its crude native tongue.
That these orcish words are foreign to him fill Nexus with a sense of apprehension.
