This is a game about killing things and taking their stuff so you can become more powerful in order to kill bigger things and take even better stuff.
Alethan: I'm good with NOT pressing our luck this time.
mjulius: That's how I know I'm home.
Pulpatoon: The whole point of PbP is to take the scheduling pressure off the game. We're just chatty because we're so eager!
Scott308: ...everyone should be reminded of just how wonderful the people they play games with here can be in real life.
Leitz: Quality and quantity wise, I think US is the best I've seen.
Paladin: I can promise terror, glory, and riches...or a quick and brutal death.
Inferno: Come on! That's was Vicar's Head, a completely different doomed village!
Rex: I can move to the wait list to let someone else into the game.

I’m not sure how we’d figure this out or not.
But can any of us feel any sort of control over the change yet?

Unfortunately, it appears that AleBelly has left Unseen Servant. It's too bad.
He told me he'd be away, but not for this long. This seemed as good a time as any to move him offstage until we hear from Ale. :(

Thoughts about next steps? To wolf or not to wolf?

Btw:
Stuck in Denver. Can’t get a flight out so our group is renting a van to drive to Kansas City airport (600 miles :)) to get a flight home tomorrow. Maybe.

With no weapons or armor, we'd likely get slaughtered yet again. Urdur wants to see what the wolf's reaction will be, but will try a Hypnotism spell if things turn south.

Hypothetical (and somewhat rhetorical) question: Would a magical ring of protection count as a magical weapon if Hothhil pummeled an opponent.
My 2 cents: I would think that any item will a 'protection'-type spell would actually make it _harder_ to hit an opponent, if the item were used as a weapon.
The protective magic would push threats away, while attack magic would draw threats to the weapon.

Hi Rusty,
I appreciate your creativity, but no. Nor would a bag of holding, a scroll, a potion, or boots of elvenkind. :)

Trust Rusty to come up with an interesting twist though! :D Be good to have a magical ring of pummeling... or anything that doesn't involve a d20 roll (though it hurts my crusty grognard soul to say that!)

I gotta say, I'm tired of playing this nicey-nice game with the wolves (or any other bad guys) and getting our butts handed to us. Get creamed, come back, get creamed, come back. I'd prefer to lose fair and test how the whole "come back" thing works when there isn't a full moon.
I say we make a priority to get our stuff, and then to find a sage (evil cult leader, or town leader, all the same to me at this point) we bribe/manhandle to figure out a way to get rid of the curse.
With regards on how to get past the leader of the pack, I'd say do things differently than last time. I feel like talking with them didn't help last time, though we were kinda mean :P , plus we have more leverage now that we are "one of them" or something.

How about a Suggestion that they take a nap, and then we smash their faces with a rock??

With wolves, the key would be to take out the alpha, I guess. Hothhil is willing to give that a go! :)

I'll post later..

It was pointed out to me that Hothhil is already doing something. It'll have to wait until later, if that is the way we want to go.

Edit: Or... That Suggestion could be used in the Alpha to make him submissive to us. Then they might ead is to our stuff.

I don;t think the pack is going to attack us for declining. I think they are prepared to just wait us out knowing that eventually our our will will break.
