Alethan: I'm good with NOT pressing our luck this time.
mjulius: That's how I know I'm home.
Pulpatoon: The whole point of PbP is to take the scheduling pressure off the game. We're just chatty because we're so eager!
Scott308: ...everyone should be reminded of just how wonderful the people they play games with here can be in real life.
Leitz: Quality and quantity wise, I think US is the best I've seen.
Paladin: I can promise terror, glory, and riches...or a quick and brutal death.
Inferno: Come on! That's was Vicar's Head, a completely different doomed village!
Rex: I can move to the wait list to let someone else into the game.

Hey Scott,
Remember, in this game you don't choose spells in advance. You didn't have a "Chant" spell memorized. You have slots. :)

Thanks Ron, but kindness had nothing to do with it. :)
It was a good plan, great roleplaying, and an excellent die roll.

Completely forgot that. I guess I'll still burn a 2nd level slot, as I may need the 1st level slots.

Rob, I completely missed that Bo cast Invisibility to Animals. I thought it was just Invisibility. Ingrid saw Bo, it was me that completely failed a perception (or reading comprehension) check!

Re: the trees
Rudolph’s plan, once the hobbit can act, is to climb a stout tree for sure. One to bring his mad slinging skillz into effect. And two because then maybe we can flag down some passing eagles...

Oh, I know. I was just roleplaying along with the situation as it played out.

And congratulations, by the way. With Hoom gone now, Ingrid has just taken over as the lead conspirator in Bo's mind.

BTW, Bo has healing spells he can use as well, I was just waiting to see if we have a specific game plan in mind before I use all of them.

I'd worry that this would give us less time to prepare.
Also, I'm thinking trees are safer than rocks, considering wolves aren't known for their climbing skills. Of course these wolves [shrug] who knows, but I'd rather take my chances that they are clumsier climbers than me.

If only I had some flaming pinecones, oh then they'd rue the day!

we should move a short distance away, prepare snares, pour oil in a ring around where we tree when the wolves come in shoot a flaming arrow into the oil creating a fire ring trapping them.

How many flasks of oil would be required for this? How long would the ring of fire last?

depends on how thick you want it to be and the circumference, I have 2 flasks. It just needs to last ling enough to kill the wolves from distance, by nature I don;t see them willingly going through fire.
