Jack will attack if a bee gets close enough that he can do so with his sword. Initiative [1d10+1] = 2+1 = 3 Long Sword [1d20+2] = 19+2 = 21 to hit [1d8] = 4 dmg

The Gam'A Zone, Day 30, Night
Combat, Round 2
All except Ghar and Belial remain inside the smoke circle and intend to wait-out the bees.
Ghar continues to engage the swarm, extending his polearm but missing as the bees move too high for the long melee weapon.
Oor-zak throws another spear into the swarm but cleanly misses.
Frank fires an arrow after aiming for the 1st round and sticks one dead for 7 points of damage!
1 in 29 chance of hitting the wounded one
[1d29] = 24
Frank, arrow = [1d20+3] = 17+3 = 20
[1d8] = 7 dmg.
Belial plunges into the swarm and slashes at the insects, his efforts are for naught and the bees give him their undivided attention. Moving in unison, the bees attack Belial (AC 12) with hive ferocity and the remaining 28 bees strike 9 times for 21 points of damage!
In addition, Belial must save vs. poison
