We just escaped the damned castle and now you wish to return to it because of a ghost parade? Fine! Lets go back to our dooms."

Re: 11. Beneath the Castle
Gragog turns to Braggar and Agax "Alright well now what? Re-entering the castle from hell?"

Re: 11. Beneath the Castle
Agax frowns darkly. "Hmmm. You might be right Gre... um, Gragog.
"Perhaps that procession didn't mean what I think it did. Let's return to the village and see if anything there has changed, shall we?"

Re: 11. Beneath the Castle
Gragog "I'm starting to feel like a kitchen hand back and forth always going back and forth get this fetch that... village or castle? Are we sure on the destination this time? No turning around and walking back to the castle again if we turn around and head for the village again right?"

Re: 11. Beneath the Castle
Agax smiles and leads the way. "I imagine that depends upon what we find at the village."

Weather: Stormy
Location: Old Svalich Road, Before Castle Ravenloft

Your curiosity about the ghostly procession is not enough to pull you back into the castle. As the last of your dead compatriots marches across the bridge and into the castle, you turn and start back toward town.
DM rolls a bunch of dice.
Though you walk in haunted woods in the dark of night, amazingly—miraculously?—you make it back to town unmolested. Perhaps Strahd really has been defeated? You arrive in town as the dim, diffuse light that passes for morning in this dreary place rises. The town seems very much as it was when you left: quiet, fearful, and empty.

Re: 11. Beneath the Castle
Did we notice if the fog still remains around the place(town & castle)?
Gragog looking around "Looks about the same here still."

Gragog "Appears that even if Strahd was defeated the mist hasn't lifted. Perhaps the curse is far more than just one vampire lord?"
