Ok, catching up on events and threads:

-Thorax spends the day fasting and meditating on current events. You have several attempted robberies on the Tavemple now and the sickening realization of the size and scale of Skullport. Vek would like to return to planning some kind of assault or raid on the Fat Man's keep in Skullport.

-Glimble checks in with his clergy at the Temple of Gond. They know very little about Skullport. They do know that there supposedly are bands of gnomes living down there, some deep gnomes and the surface varieties of Gnome. They know that there are rumors of monsters, smuggling, and hidden treasures and caverns down there, but all of that could be nonsense. There is a cleric of Milil in Waterdeep who dropped by the temple, he will be back in a day or two, and the Gondsmen believe he might be able to help Glimble with his magical staff.

-Ganon spends a day resting and then starts his routine in the Yawning Portal (roll 1d12 for rumors).

Ganon - you hear little about Undermountain, very few groups have been going down lately for some reason. However, you do hear about some increased pirate activity in the sea near Waterdeep. There have been some requests for armed guards to man ships.

Ganon:

After gather the rumors that are being spoken in the Yawning Portal he pays a visit to the Tavemple. Along the way he mutters to himself "Pirates, sea vessels, the open ocean, there is no way that Thorax or Cormack is going to get on a ship again. Maybe I can convince them the lack of forays into Undermountain is cause for concern. I should have no problem getting them to go underground. It's like a second home to them or is up here their second home? Vek is the one that is going to be the tough sell. Think Ganon, how can I convince Vek to give up pursuing the Fat man?" Ganon ponders that question as he strolls through the streets and alleys to the Tavemple.

Glimble will hang out until the cleric of Milil returns that knows more about skullport. "Apparently there is a clan of gnomes back in skullport deep gnomes."

Tantos Vek, failed paladin:

Vek sketches out a rough map of the Fat Man's fortress with his grimy, thick hands, before his memory fails him.

He begins to plot how they will surreptitiously survey this place... and how he'll convince Ganon to join them. The Fat Man must have wealth, for all the human trafficking he's committed. And he can be no more dangerous than a dragon.

it appears that we have two choices for our next step:

-Regroup and survey the fat man
-enter undermountain again and try to find the dragon

I think we need a quick vote could everybody weigh in?

Thorax would like to have a formal sit-down planning session. Be favors the attack on the Fat Man, but we need to be prepared and equipped. This is not the sort of thing we just go do.

Ganon:

Is for taking his chances in undermountian. At least there he know there is gold and treasure to be had.

And a Dragon is safe? Perhaps you could collect more information babout it and the hoard. If there was something to help take out the Fat man the notion would carry more weight. Hall we take 2 days to think and prepare?

undermountain has been good to us and has actually had far more reward and been much more "manageable" in the sense of what we have fought and faced.

As much as Cormack wants to agree with Thorax, he believes that Undermountain is a better plan. At least that way, funds can be obtained to be used in a protracted battle with the Fat Man.

Very wise ybn1197. I'm stealing that to for Ganon's arguments to convince Vek to go to Undermountain.

Glimble will concur on this point as well.
