Act V Search for the Skyfish

The paladin will continue to rise higher and higher and take an aerial look at the island.

Does anything look out of place? Anything else living and moving upon the island at all?

Trotter will begin circling the wall of force, watching the occupants within as he does so.

The rod is small, only about 4 inches in length and one end is shaped like a fishes head.

The skyfish?!?! marvels Blodget to himself. The foolish young hobbit eagerly looks around for something to use to pick it up or carry it, fearful of touching the eerie green glow.

What are they up to now? Mira seems to be losing whatever amusement the Gnomes have provided up to this point. I'm beginning to think I should sprinkle some sparkles at them, and leave only one alive to provide information.

Much smaller than a gnome could hide under. Especially a giant size gnome.

Xano- Looks over the rod carefully. Whispers to Blodget. (Conversation if we do not know that it was Miras spellIf there is a worm coming we best hurry. Do you want me to grab the rod. (Conversation if we know it was Miras spell) Blodget no worry Mira cast a spell. Maybe you screaming Worm ran off our little friends down here.

Hand on his sword hilt, the nigh-invisible hobbit peered about for the shapeshifting gnomes. "Yes, please take it, Miss, and let's be off!" he whispered.

Xano grabs ahold of Blodget's tiny glowing rod and the pair head back up the cellar stairs to rejoin the others. The gnomes below must be very well hidden because there is no sign of them as the pair surfaces.

The four gnomes still trapped under the dome appear to be trying to dig in the snow and ice at the very edge of the force wall. They all start digging now and they have a fairly good size hole dug out already.

Halo sees nothing but the glowing tower from his elevated vantage point.

Wyntar addresses the group...Are we just going to wait for the wall to dissipate? If so, I'll stand back so our fighters can get in to strike first.

The foolish young hobbit beamed with pride at having stolen something with Miss Xano. "Show them!" he urged with a whisper, rocking back and forth on his furry feet. "Show them! If it's the skyfish, maybe we can leave this place before the magic globe pops!"

"I see no hurry to dispel it, what are they doing anyway." The druid asks as he carefully walks around the globe.

Xano- Shows the group what the rod they found down below. This may be what we were sent here to find. It has the shape of a fishes head.

After urging Xano to share their secret, the foolish young hobbit eagerly tries to interrupt her while jumping up and down, unable to contain his glee.

Xano "This may be..."

"Look!" said Blodget.

Xano "...what we were sent here to find..."

"...This could be what we were sent for!..."

Xano "It has the shape..."

"See it's shape?! It has the shape!"

Xano "...of a fishes head."

"...Fish's head! See?! Sky FISH!

"Um... Where did the winter wyrm go?"

Skyfish? Mira's focus suddenly switches to Blodgett and Xano... Tho she can only partially see the Hobbit and hear the Elf's voice.

The adventures regroup at the dome and the invisible thieves show the party their new spoils.

It is a 4 inch long rod with the shape of a fish head on one end. The astute members of the party realize that it is of the same shape and form as the fish statue inside the fountain.

The tiny rod glows with a soft green light that looks very similar to the glow of the ice tower in front of you. In fact, the little rod appears to be made from the same glassy ice-like material as a he tower itself.

After a bit of discussion, the party sees that Morgi's mud spell might not have been cast completely in vain. The pile of ice and snow that was built up around the base of the tower has sunk into the ground a little now and a tiny hole in the outside of the towers wall can now be seen.
