Frank Rock; Veteran Human male

Frank had kept his rifle at the ready, but never quite pointing at the newcomer; but upon hearing his friendly voice and words, he lowered it and nodded at him. "Hey there. I'm Frank, what do we call ya?"

Belial

The baboon knuckles closer, joining the group. You can see he has the normal array of pack, waterskins, etc, with a small crossbow strapped across his chest.
"Some water would be most excellent, bro. I been flyin' for what feels like days."
"They call me Belial- or Dude- both work.
He takes a long drink from the offered canteen, then digs into his own pack. "Like, I got some snacks here, if you dudes want some. Awesome! I didn't think I had any bug raisins left!" He digs into his rations, starting with some smoked insects.

"So, like what are you fella doing out here?"

Oor-Zak watches the newcomer warily until the winged baboon man pulleds out the food. Pulling a shiny bit of metal from his pouch, he shambles up and drops the metal slug into the newcomer's hand and grabs some of food. "Oor-Zak trade for good grub food."

Cthul Hand Luke's shoulder tentacles sway back and forth as he watches the newcomer.

"Welcome."

Belial

"Dude, you are a most righteous fellow ape- but I couldn't take your shiny for my food- I offered it freely. Thanks, tho.
My traveling bros and I got most heinously assaulted off that way
He gestures with one hand back the way he came, By some of those Pigmon dudes. I managed to fly off and didn't get dead, but my compadres all bought it."

He takes a deep swig from the offered water, slopping a lot of it on himself, then passes it back.

The big furry chiropteran said earnestly, "I am on a holy pilgrimage in this Land of the Gods."

Bruze squints in the direction indicated. "How far off are the Pigmonn infidels?"

Frank Rock; veteran Human male

One side of Frank's mouth turns up in a grin at all the 'Dudes' and 'Righteous' coming forth from the newcomer's mouth. He liked this guy. His grin dropped though when he heard of his compatriots getting killed by Pigmonn. "Were they carrying weapons like this?", he asked Belial while showing him the bolt-action rifle; "Because if so; we took a large convoy of them a little ways back. Might be they were they same ones that took out your friends. If not; then maybe we all need to be on the alert for more of the bastards".

Belial

"I dunno, Bat-dude. Maybe a day or so.

I don't know what weapons the Pigmon were carrying. NorJax? a little help, maybe?

Belial stows his rations and does a quick check of his weapons. His actions are drastically at odds with the blank, glazed look in his eye.

At least one had a rifle like Frank shows. The others were armed with swords, axes & spears. One used an energy ray a couple of times.

Jack "We could go take the pigmonn down or you could come with us to investigate these mounds with the interesting structures atop them." Jack offers to the new comer. ;)

Bruze Whane, mutant bat:

The earnest acolyte thought, 'What would Bhatt Mhann do?'

Then, when he knew the answer, he grimly said, "A day away? We should ambush them, before they can catch up to us."

'Redemption,' he thought, '... and revenge.'

I'm the effenjee around here, so I'll go wherever, dudes. But those grommets do need some payback. The hair on Belial's neck and back rises in anger.

Into the Gam’A Zone, Day 28

After a short social interlude, the group and its new companion, Belial, set out to the next hill. It doesn’t take long to walk around the base and discover that there is no trail leading to the top. The dirt on the slopes appears natural and undisturbed. No artificial structures are evident at the peak of the hill.

Another hill comes into view a couple miles south of your new location.

Bart, MH

Bart greets the nu-mutie. Then thinks out loud to the group as they circle the hill. "I do not think the frogman is in any condition to fight pigmon. Perhaps, I should take him out of the gamma zone. He seems sickly, maybe it is the zone doing it. We could take one of these hill as a strategic point to attack the Pigmon... set traps.. ambush. Is there any movement to the west?" Bart, struggle with his many concerns, he think about digging this hills entrance out but, thinks it a vein effort. Perhaps it is time to head to lantica, after dealing with the pigmon to the west.

Welcome, Urson. In my mind Belial party that was killed by pigmon was the cast of the wizard of oz. Surprised, Jack didn't have a comment.

Belial

Yeah, that reminds me- what's up with Mr GreenFrog? Did he eat one of those mushrooms with the little purple spots? That's what always happens to me. But dude- the colors are so awesome!

Belial makes a quick flight up to the top of the hill, to see if there's anything interesting up there.
