CHAPTER 2: Into the Gam'A Zone

Bruze Whane, mutant bat:

The big furry chiropteran wakes, blinking in the bright, noonday sun of the Land of the Gods.

He uses his ultrasonic echolocation ability toward the South, fearing the buzzing could herald the dread coming of Parr K’Orr, evil God of Spiders and Insects.

Blixx awakens to the stirring of the others. "Ouch"Blixx shields his eyes and retreats to the carts shadow. He listens in on whats going on.

Bart, MH

Bart stubbornly continues to sleep, muttering something about mothers.
Bruze's echolocation brings him out of it and the thought of home echos with the waves inside his head.

Stretching, he yawns, "Breakfast?"

Frank Rock; Veteran Human


Frank rolls awake and quickly picks up his rifle and moves over close to Bruze. "Any idea who or what is making those sounds?"; he asks the Bat-man quietly....

Oor-Zak, MA gorilla

Oor-Zak rouses himself from sleep, his canines gleam as his jaws strech in a wide yawn. Gathering his weapons he joins the others as they peer to the south, trying to determine the source of the strange noise.

Nothing of interest is noticeable in visual range. Bruze’s echolocation fails to detect anything foreign to the environment. Each of you can hear the buzz/hum at various times and volume relative you hearing ability, but the exact location to the south cannot be determined from your position.

Cthul Hand Luke, mutant human

Luke stirs from a dream of verdant green fields where the winds carry the scent of flowers and freshness. He awakes in a land of blasted environment and a noise that probably means trouble.

"Oil and fire, maybe the smoke will keep bugs away," says Luke. He scrounges up what oil he can find, pours a 15' circle around the campfire, douses the campfire with some oil for extra smoke, and prepares to light it when and if the insects appear.

"Should we check it out, my friends?" Bruze asked, standing and readying his gigantic leathery wings.

[Dogma]

"Oor-Zak no need to go look for trouble. Trouble soon enough find Oor-Zak. Oor-Zak go back sleep. Wake if buzzy things get closer." The mutant gorilla shambles back to his sleeping spot and lays dowe. Shortly after a soft snoring can be heard.

Jack "I think a scout or scouting party would do best to see if we can figure out what is making that noise."

Frekken, MA Frog

"You rest, friend Oor-Zak. I can join anyone who wishes to investigate," he offers, licking his froggy lips.

Bart stays at camp and readies the cart and gear to continue the journey.

Luke stays at camp and keeps the fire stoked.

OK. So far we have Oor-zak, Bart & Luke staying in the camp.

Bruze, Jack & Frekken have suggested/volunteered to recon the direction of the source.

Blixx and Frank have not committed to any action.
