For the record, onlyme will be joining the game. I added him to the forum here so he can begin posting publicly, and he can temporarily use his private forum in my 2e game to host his character sheet for this one.

So, here's what we're looking at in terms of the adventuring party:

AleBelly: Bingus (MU)
GreyWolfVT: Dorin (Dwarf)
Zhym: Lúthon (Elf), Malfindel (Elf)
Inferno: TBD (Fighter)
onlyme: TBD

There will be at least six PCs. Ed and Dave may also be willing to create/run two PCs, so the group could grow up to eight.

Let's talk marching order. Here's one possibility:

Xhalh Relve
Lúthon Malfindel
Bingus Rummus
Dorin

That puts a decent fighter guarding the back.

Also, I noticed that there are characters with splint and studded leather armor. Is there a house rule for those? Neither is in B/X, so I was just curious whether people worked something out with Dave or were using LL or something. If the latter, it might be worth noting that plate mail in BX is cheaper (at 60gp) than splint in LL (at 75gp).

I'm using LL. If plate is cheaper, I'll take it. And I might buy another weapon with the difference.

I'm not well versed in all the differences between BX and LL (except that the XP tables are all different). But, yes, as Zhym said, plate mail is ridiculously cheap in BX at a measly 60gp. Feel free to make any necessary adjustments now, before we formally jump off.

That said, if you're going to purchase equipment from one source, you should use that source for all purchases (and not pick-and-choose whichever list has the cheapest prices for the same item).
