Congratulations Starbeard on the new edition to your family.

I haven't watched the new Star Trek. Like the other said the franchise has been on a steady decline from the original.
I like to get my Star Trek fix these days by watching the Orville. Though the last two episodes were horrible.

I haven't really seen Orville yet. I've heard good things though. :)
This is a game about killing things and taking their stuff so you can become more powerful in order to kill bigger things and take even better stuff.
Alethan: I'm good with NOT pressing our luck this time.
mjulius: That's how I know I'm home.
Pulpatoon: The whole point of PbP is to take the scheduling pressure off the game. We're just chatty because we're so eager!
Scott308: ...everyone should be reminded of just how wonderful the people they play games with here can be in real life.
Leitz: Quality and quantity wise, I think US is the best I've seen.
Paladin: I can promise terror, glory, and riches...or a quick and brutal death.
Inferno: Come on! That's was Vicar's Head, a completely different doomed village!
Rex: I can move to the wait list to let someone else into the game.

If you haven't had the chance to watch Hyperdrive, I recommend it. There are only 12 episodes, and it's very funny. Aside from the obvious Star Trek inspiration, it also has a lot of Flash Gordon and Buck Rogers parody in it.

As expected, having a new lifeform beamed aboard the family vessel has interrupted my post rate. Expect the next turn this weekend!

Yup, as a daddy of four, I complete agree with Inferno.
The joys of PbP is it can be put on hold, and picked back up, with a moments notice. :)

Swaddling is tough! Already I can tell we've given birth to an escape artist. If she turns out anything like I was, she'll be breaking out of her cribs before she even learns to walk.

Agreed. I usually like my games tactical and more roll-play. But I gotta say the characters in this game, all of them, flesh out really nicely. Great play all!

It's easier to roleplay and create great dialogue when you have time to think about. No way could I do this during a face-to-face session. I'm not that quick.

I like FtF and I like PbP, but both for different reasons. Interesting strategy, and interesting role play are definitely my PbP likes. FtF I enjoy strategy way more than role play. I'm more of a roll player. :D
This is great stuff, y'all are way fun to play with!

Hi guys, I'm really sorry for the sudden stall. You can tell this is my first kid, I actually thought I could squeeze my current online gaming into my new life.

I've dropped out of pretty much everything I'm playing in, but I want to keep this game running because we're so close to wrapping up. I really only have time to check in on Mondays though, so I'll kick off with the next GM post then. After that we'll stagger our way to the end with a GM post every week or two, which isn't all that different from how it's been for a little while, anyway.

Works for me, Star.

Also, I'll be away and offline this week. Please NPC Nadix if I'm holding up other PCs' actions. Thanks.
