The half-orc raises her shield and shifts to the side, half-expecting spears or something to shoot out of the slots.

Minding the slots with the well-honed suspicion of a dwarf - let alone a dwarven deathtrapsmith - Dredd searches the slotted door for traps as he rumbles thickly, "This will take a moment. Ye lot might do well to search for secret doors again!"

Worren stands by waiting to see what the group elects to do next. The constant threat of death or worse in this tomb has paralyzed him.

Zoster suggests sticking a sword in one of the slots. " I would, but I don't have one."

While he waits, he examines the door for any hidden writing or clues on how to open it. He will also look to see if there's anything that would prevent his transition of metal to wood spell from working.

I assume the door weighs more than 90 pounds...is this likely?

The door is about 8' tall and 5' wide, so it's probably heavier than 90 lbs., yes.

Malibran rubs his chin, "Swords are not condoned by my high lord and savior - men of faith serve justice with their wit and weighty hammers. I daresay it makes sense as we have seen no other such slotted key that would serve. Of course, the riddle refers to a key, but the Light knows if that is meant for here or somewhere else.... Time ticks by and but the worst that can befall us is death in the service of our Lord... what other options do we have other than to brave a portal of mist that has proven trick-some. Could we slot a sword from a distance in some way to confound the trap that likely lies in wait?"
