Okay.....I'm starting to think the DM REALLY wants to take us out. :)

Seeing how low we are on HPs, I'd suggest that anybody who has any magic doo-dads or spells might want to employ them right about seeing as how I think the most HPs left are 20 something and many of us are less than 20.....so this very well might become a fight where we lose some more PCs if we're forced into another standard melee.....

agreed but I have beaten death before if Grog is indeed trying to kill us. I may not be a dwarf cleric this time but maybe I have a change to survive the attempts again. ;) :D And yes I am expecting Grog to say ...

I was looking over Calto's spells and trying to decide how to deal with the latest beastie.

I can't cast Charm Mammal because the thing is larger than man-sized. Might Animal Friendship work? The ape seems more monster than animal to me...What do you guys think?

Hi,
I'm going out of town for two weeks, I don't expect to get online. I'll be back on 8/22.

Please NPC my character if I'm holding things up. Azoth hopes Siavel casts Wall of Fire or Web on that party-killing monster already!!! ;)

Thanks. Have a good fortnight, everyone.

Not really sure on that one Mant. I don't have much in the way of spells that will hurt this thing either. I was hoping it would slip and fall to its death in the Grease.

I am going to try acid on it this time.

- Siavel doesn't have Identify in his spell book.
I should have probably looked at that before posting that statement.

Any input on spell selection before we rest? I know Inferno mentioned Water Breathing. Anyone have other thoughts?

Here's a few thoughts off the top of my head….in addition of course to a lot of healing spells…:)

-Faerie Fire is nice for the bonus to hit everyone gets on whatever is hit with the spell

-Summon Insects could be useful against a lot of monsters/opponents….even if the damage factor isn't great, the target can't do anything except swat at the insect swarm while the spell is in effect (or until the caster moves the swarm to a different target)….which gives the rest of us a reprieve during the time

-Stone Shape I could see being useful in certain situations…..an escape from otherwise trapped areas or creating a pitfall in certain places, etc.

-Snare could certainly hold one monster of various types for a bit…again, even if it doesn't really hurt the target, it could give us time to attack it/retreat/think of something else

Anyway, just my 2 cents!

Si's book is rather meager in the helpful spell department. :x

You would think that a guy who has been around 900+ years would have a few more spells.

Have fun, Dram!

Grog: The Cure Critical Wounds tablet is useful. But it heals one person a lot.

The whole party is in bad shape. Is there any way to spread its effects across multiple people?

Thanks.

All right. We're in such bad shape, Azoth may cast it now. Or he may recommend we rest and do a second round of healing before continuing.

Grog, can you please update the party's hit point status, so he can see what we should do? Thanks.
