NARRATOR
The orc soldiers march towards the awaiting party lead by Ulfang and Ariknoq. Their decent towards the group narrows as do the sides of the caverns and at last they are but 2-3 abreast. The first wave attacks the party. The first sergeant is five waves back within sight but guarded well.
Orc 1 Attack Roll against Ariknoq / [1d20] = 12 Miss
Orc 2 Attack Roll against Ulfang / [1d20] = 2 (what a pitiful miss for that orc, lol)
Orc 3 Attack Roll against Thurgot / [1d20] = 13 miss
DM
It is now that parties turn to move and attack. The Tunnel is 30' wide and 20' high at this point. The hall way narrows and the orcs are standing almost single file in rows advancing when other orcs fall. The column of orcish troops extends beyond the doorway and into the corridor leading to the cavern entrance. With a quick glance from Stefan the ranger estimate's about 60 in total for the initial force. He believes there may be twice that outside waiting to get in.
Meanwhile at the nest/village of the Rotting eye orc tribe. Sotha sil and his crew have freed the slaves and placed the packages sent by the Mages Guild of Pandathaway. They rush back to find the tunnel to meet up with the rest of the party, only to find them engaged in combat with the orc hoard.
Sotha Sil prepares the material components for his cone of cold spell. He begins to walk towards the front line of orcs held off by Ulfang and Ariknoq. Sotha Sil thinks to himself;
" Its time to kill at least five rows and give these guys some leg room, then ill fall back and see what they can do! "
Sotha will go last this round. After all players make their move he will lay down the 11th lvl cone of cold on the hoard.

Thurgot hefts his magic shield in blocking fashion then strikes out at the nearest Orc before him. "By the strength of Vidar," he cries once before falling silent.

Ariknoq, the Holy Fury
"Blood and souls for Qord!" The half-orc warrior-priest voices his war cry at he cuts a swath through orcs with his great sword Excommunicator.

NARRATOR
The Hoard of orcs advance and drop like flies at the might of the Company of the Jagged Rose. Three Waves of Rotting eye Tribal Orc Soldiers lay dead and more waves still advance to attack. But they are rudely awakened by Sotha Sil's Cone of Cold spell, it blasts forth and fills the tunnel for 6 full waves of orc troops. 18 orcs are bathed in the cold embrace of the the spell, 2 are left standing cold and near death now. The other 16 slain from extreme cold thump to the floor dead.
There is now a clear 90' area of dead bodies between the party and the rest of the hoard. But the hoard will need to wait. The party now has initiative again due to the fact that they can visibly see the Enormous Wyvern that cuts off the next wave and vacates through the Cavern Entrance. It momentarily cuts off the new orc soldiers from entering the cave and then is gone. The next 6 waves approach slower then before but still block the entrance up to the Tribal Banner. The Galley is now empty.
The party has three options:
1. Sotha Sil can Teleport everyone out clean back to the first camp site a days travel from here and detonate the spell packages.
2. Remain and fight the hoard clear out the dangerously high cliff edge and face off with the Enormous Wyvern.
3. Or Sotha Sil Can Teleport the whole party back to the gnome city to claim rewards and recuperate and plan their next move. (The Packages would self detonate as soon as Sotha Sil passed the mile away reach of its enchantments trigger. Large numbers of baffeled angry orcs would be standing around while their whole world becomes a worm highway after the explosions.)
Sotha Sil's Cone of cold looks similar to this image.

DM / Side note.
Sotha Sil is the 11th lvl , Lawful Neutral Mage of the Wizards guild of Pandathaway. The Guild Assigned Sotha to the task of eliminating the Rotting eye tribe of orcs that plagues the gnome city of Gnome vale.
It is a secondary mission to his main objective, which is to eliminate the threat of the Forgotten Temple of Thurizdun! Said to be the home of a Mountain giant now with his norker minions and other pets.
There is Another secondary mission; The matter of the Merc. commander that went missing years ago. He built a small Hamlet South of Gnome vale and five weeks later, him and his men vanished.

Zendur & Nimble continue fighting once they reach the orc horde area the others are fighting in.

how is he gonna teleport everyone safely? Isn't he only 10th level, doesn't it have a weight limit and chance of death or teleporting high each time it's used?
