GM

All Duergar combatants are now visible. Morgol has increased in size to 7' tall and is now considered large for damage purposes but can move 120' due to his new size.

It is now the beginning of round three for the PC's. You may begin posting at you leisure.

I posted the map as I see it in Ivar's combat sequence. Please refer to this map to get your barring's when deciding your next move.

Ariknoq Teronqar, fighter-cleric - Round Three

Ariknoq the Holy Fury howls and swings Excommunicator at Mogrol's neck, then back again, trying to cut the duergar cleric down.

Ulfang:
By Crom! We're back!
Synth, two things:
1) I think Morningstar is 2d4, not 2d8. :)
2) I'd love to get me some 3-18 damage on Morgul. Are there any house rules I need to be aware of when it comes to disengaging from a combatant or two?

Many thanks!

Thurgot

thinking that his last spell failed because of some evil herfjǫturr trickery, shakes it off and with a silent roar brings down the wrath of Midgård on Morgol: Mace, footman's, to hit: [1d20+1] = 20+1 = 21, damage vs S/M opp: [1d6+1] = 4+1 = 5, damage vs L opp: [1d4+1] = 2+1 = 3

Question from last round:
To DM: if both these failed, does that mean that the spell itself was cast anyway ? Or remains unused
Edit: DM pls add any relevant Bless effects to the above rolls. Thanks ravenn

Ulfang Chainbreaker, barbarian:

Ulfang's sword was as long and black as the reign of an unjust king.
He brought it down upon the leader of the sorcerous dwarves. "HEEYYAAAAAAHH!!!"
Heck with it. Morgul is double teamed already. :)

THAC0 is 14. Crix's AC is -1, I think. Two Blesses is +2 (thanks guys!), the Black Kiss is a +1 sword, +2 Strength bonus, So Ulfang needs to roll a 10 or higher, I think.
Black Kiss to hit: [1d20] = 8 , damage:[1d10+4] = 1+4 = 5 Hits AC 1
Black Kiss to hit: [1d20] = 14 , damage:[1d10+4] = 1+4 = 5 Hits AC -5
Ulfang wants to use his movement, or his leaping ability, to get out of the way of these two attackers, and hopefully cause them to hit each other next round since they're in a crossfire of sorts.

Tarcil Ranger/Cleric swipes away at the bolts piercing his flesh and armor. Peeling away from Morgol, he gracefully dashes across the battlefield to happily hammer away at his new foe Ivar.

Hammer (thaco = 14):
To Hit [1d20] = 10 +1 bless = 11
Hammer Damage [1d4+1] = 2+1 = 3

Mace (thaco=14):
To Hit [1d20] = 17 +2 mace +1 bless = 20

Mace Damage [1d6+3] = 5+3 = 8

PC's Action Report

Ariknok valiantly swings at Morgol and misses both times. (Morgol Grins sheepishly)

Thurgot Attacks Morgol a second later and wipes the grin off his face as his mace connects with Morgols side.

Ulfang Attacks Crix and manages to connect once drawing blood from the dwarf Leaders meaty shoulder. ( Crix does not seem to be phased at all by the hit and rages on )

Tarcil Disengages with Morgol to pursue Ivar whom he manages to blungeon twice with his hammer and mace. ( Ivar reels backwards a step an spits in Tarcil's general direction )

PbP Forum code: Save vs Spells: [1d20] = 14

Also, can you please reroll the Morningstar damage from last round? The dice roller accidentally rolled 2d8 instead of 2d4. Thanks. :)

How many feet are the crix crew away from Ariknoq, and each other, at the moment? My sense is we're clustered in that loose diamond formation but I'm not sure actual distance.

Crossbows fire one bolt per round, unless its some sort of crossbow of speed.

Before his CLW Mogrol took 45 HP damage?.

Ulfang Chainbreaker:

The barbarian was a caged panther, and the cage was his own skin.

Frozen like a statue in mid-swing, his war-face locked mid-cry, he was a study in bloodthirsty wrath and mayhem.

Also, impotent wrath and mayhem. His enraged eyes said everything he couldn't: If he got free, he would savagely murder Crix. If he got free, he would mercilessly slaughter Crix's witch mate. If he got free, he would go berserk on Morgol and Ivar until he was soaked in their blood.

If...
