Bucyrus, human monk
Bucky will stand by the door at the end of this hall, waiting for the others to come to him and Asaahn.

Urgosh will cross when it makes sense too. "I'll be the first to open and enter that door."

Goroth attempts to cross the room using the rope.

Riagrin, Halfling Thief
After everyone else crosses, Ria will climb out of the chasm and use the rope to catch up to the rest of the group.

Brother Isaachar will remain on point at the rear of the group, ever watchful for returning vampires and lurkers from the shadows. "Okay, where to next?"

The door opens up into an empty hallway that disappears to the west. It looks like it splits to the north & south. You all leave the frictionless room and get on safe secure stone.ravenn4544 wrote:Urgosh will cross when it makes sense too. "I'll be the first to open and enter that door."

Goroth awaits a stealthier trap checker to lead and will follow second or third in line.

You are the "X". The hallway spits to the North & South, both ending at a door.

Goroth will try to remain quiet so as not to throw off Ria.

To the north you hear water.
To the south you hear movement, but can't tell more.

The door smashes open to reveal a strange sight. A many layered/level room, some filled with water, some not.ravenn4544 wrote:Urgosh readies his Mighty Axe and will kick open the door where was heard movement.
The first layer has water and has giant crayfish in it, claws snapping. The second layer is dry with several giant scorpions, stingers dripping with venom. The thirds layer has water and has sea lions, the lion heads filled with fangs. The final bottom layer has a door and three manticores.

Abdul Jhaad Asaahn, holy wizard:
"Please close the door, Urgosh."
The sorcerer-priest recognized the poem's 'inverted ziggurat' that led to their final goal, but hoped there was another way. "Let's try the other door."

Urgosh remains still with his Axe poised for battle. He blinks a few times then slowly backs up and closes the door. "I love seafood, but that's not what I had in mind...."

Urgosh shrugs and heads to the north door and kicks that one open - Axe ready to reign death and destruction!
