Thanks.

Just waiting for a few to finish up their characters. They have all been given the suggested changes & been approved, to the best of my knowledge. Just waiting on final characters being posted.

We need marching order. two by two & single file. Have light sources also.

Well if it helps I have 8 torches and am a Fighter and a Dwarf so I can be in the front or back as needed for single or side by side in a two by two no sense putting a pure fighter in the middle of a march. Also might help that i have my infravision to fall back on.

That's for you guys to decide.
Who has the lights.
Who' s a front line fighter.
Who is guarding the rear.
Whatever.

Then the game starts. First map up and entry description.

As a cleric/magic-user, I figure I should be near the back. I also have infravision. Excited to see this kicked off!

Where should I post memorized spells?

Thanks,

Thanks. Will post them asap.
For marching order, what does everyone think of this?

Assuming two abreast:
Dwarf fighter and Half Orc fighter in front.
Half Orc cleric/assassin and Halfling thief in middle.
Human monk and Human cleric/magic user in the back.

Thoughts?

That sound good to me. I can also put Bucky (the monk) up front to scout ahead and/or carry the torch (if the fighters are using shields).

For single file, how about: Monk, Dwarf fighter, half orc fighter, cleric/assassin, thief, cleric/MU?
Or: Dwarf fighter, halfling thief, half orc fighter, half orc Cleric/assassin, cleric/MU, monk? The second order allows the taller fighters to shoot over the shorter folk up front....
How do we know you're not a donkey-brained man?

Sounds good to me too. The Half Orc fighter's (Urgosh) combat tactics extend no further past his axe :) He does not have the ability or inclination to use a bow.

Decide who is carrying light sources & then we are good to go. You can now post in the game thread.

I like the second one. If we're attacked from behind, the cleric/magic-user will be our front line.

I am fine with any of those marching orders. The halfling thief would prefer not to carry a torch, as she is so short (I don't think anyone else wants her holding a flame that low anyway).
Sometimes this summer I will most likely be participating in another 24 hour game of Dungeons & Dragons as part of Extra Life. This organization uses gaming to help raise money to donate to children's hospitals. I'm raising money for Marshfield Children's Hospital in Marshfield, WI, and all money I raise will go to that hospital. All donations are tax-deductible. Please take a moment to check out my donation page below. Thank you.

You can carry a torch & shield at the same time. But you will have to drop the torch to fight/use shield.

Its no trouble. I figure the shield is strapped to the arm and your hand holds the torch/lantern ,etc.
But to actually use the shield effectively, you need the hand.
