OOC Chat
Re: OOC Chat
Our game is slowing down to the pace of dying, and I'm open to suggestions on how to keep the flow moving.
I think a group leader, a "caller" from Face to Face terminology, might help keep a rhythm. The player’s character would be the primary focal point in the game and provide the requisite interaction with the GM when others are absent or lack the interest in the current adventure scene. They would make the command decisions that, without any objections after 2-3 days, would become the course of action.
Volunteers?
Thoughts?

I'm not sure Norjax. I think the bigger hold up is trying to get what we need to head out into the adventuring world. Other than that a group rep or leader might speed it up. No I am not volunteering I hate being the group leader.

Re: OOC Chat
I don't like being leader (much prefer Second Banana ) but I agree its a good idea. I think once the group actually gets out into the world things will go much quicker.
Re: OOC Chat
I was thinking maybe we could make a new house rule, which if you don’t plan on posting an action, comment, or dialog, you just post “…” or “pass”. Sometimes I don’t know what to do and just wish to follow. Or my Questions are answered. Have any of you more experienced online players run a crossed anything like that?

Re: OOC Chat
yes I feel that way at times. I generally don't have a answer or even a reply to the things happening.

Re: OOC Chat
Thanks for the responses. I do think things will go quicker once we move into the wilderness, I just wanted to make sure we weren't losing the game to mediocrity. Sometimes the pace will slow down, but I'd rather not "railroad" too much.

Hi All
Sorry for the long absence. I got sick back in February which then swept through the whole family (wife and 3 kids). My boss as work left so I;ve also had to pick up a bunch of new responsibilities until we get a full time replacement. I'm just now getting on top of things. I know it seems a lame excuse not to log on as it doesn;t take that long to post, but honestly, to really just hte relief of having one less thing to worry about on my list of crap to do.
Hopefully I havent burned any bridges completely down and can jump back in...
Thanks
Alan

I'm thrilled that the dice love Frekken today --I had to wake up to my strongwoman cleric being beheaded the West Marches games I'm in
Re: OOC Chat
That's a really cool visual; and as soon as I saw it, I saw Luke spitting and pulling a "....Missouri Boat-ride" with a rifle shooting the line a la Josey Wales.

LOL! No, this wasn't inspired by any particular movie.max_vale wrote:That's a really cool visual; and as soon as I saw it, I saw Luke spitting and pulling a "....Missouri Boat-ride" with a rifle shooting the line a la Josey Wales.

is the wasteland 2 game any good? Fallout 4 dang. I'll be on the look out for that then.

Re: OOC Chat
Just watched the fallout 4 trailer today, sweet. I wonder if the dog’s name is "Dog-meat". Mad max the game looks good too. I backed Wasteland 2, and I am still not far in it. It’s like fallout, but now you have 4 or 5 guys to manage and level up. I'm still overwhelmed by it, but I like it.
