Also, Raven, the undead to the south (X2, X3, X5, etc), are a new group of undead. So Amethu can attempt to Turn them. Amethu would know this.

Sorry. As much as I'd like to, I can't change the rules in order to help you out of a tight spot, any more than a referee can let a basketball player trade a free throw for an extra time out.

What are you trying to do? Maybe there's a way to do it within the rules.

The basketball analogy is interesting, but invalid. I'm not trading two unrelated things.
I'd be trading the time I would take to make the attack to begin my run.

That said, I bow to your judgement. I know my idea is a stretch.

This can be done without winning initiative. But, whether you act before or after the monsters...

Breaking off from a melee will give any monster that is engaged in battle with you a free attack on you (currently S17 and X2 if X2 survives your free attack on him). And every foe you pass within 10 feet of (currently S19 and S24?) will also get a free attack on you as you pass by them.

But I'd likely do the same. Good luck!

What would it take for Torix to break past S21 and engage Thanatos? Is it possible, without killing S1 first? (I realize that everyone around would get nice attacks on Torix. But what the hey, to get a hit in on Death itself before going down....)

Just rolls to hit, please. Urson, you can edit your IC post to add an attack roll.

Torix and Zahra may both charge the spectre of Death (Th). Free attacks will be made upon them by their skeletal foes before they reach the spectre.
Torix can move between S2 and S27, over Grigor, past the statue (X1), and turn north.
Zahra can move between S8 and S18, then between S27 and S18, and north.
Both can just fit, east of the spectre (Th) to attack. See map below.

Torix and Zahra have higher DEXs than Cruloc and Kiri. So Cruloc and Kiri can not join in. They won't fit. Also, Cruloc already charged.

So... with Amethu near-death, in the land of death, with Death now making a cameo - could he then be considered 'alive' in that environment which would allow him to cast his 'animate dead' scroll he's been carrying and awaken his comrades to do further battle?
