Hi! Hope you admins are all doing well.
So it seems like the search function is less helpful than it used to be. I just tried searching "temple" in my game's subforum, and it returned an error saying that the word was "too common" to search. Same thing when I tried searching for "search" in the Help and Support forum.
I know this type of regulator has always been part of the search engine, but I can swear that I've searched for "temple" before and got hits just fine.

Re: Searching threads
I get that "too common" response myself. Quite a bit.
I can't speak to whether there were any changes to the search logic or functionality when the forums were updated, but maybe?
I'm not sure whether that is anything that can be tweaked? It's probably worth looking into, though, because that is frustrating.

Re: Searching threads
Yeah the search functionality may have been changed during the last update. I've looked through the admin control panel and there's nothing I can change.

Re: Searching threads
A lot of times I use Google to search. It gives me more broad results though, but still provides results you can sift through.
For the OP's example I'd put in my address bar:
site:unseenservant.us temple
But then you can further winnow it down by adding searche terms. For example that search produced 10 pages of results. This one:
site:unseenservant.us temple Starbeard
gives me only 8.

I’m not a complete tech duffer!
Hey I remember using encyclopedias (in book form!) and microfiche searches.

I remember both as well.
