#1 Post by ToniXX »

EDIT/Update:
The forums have been updated. Please post here if you run into any problems.

The forums are getting an update tonight around 8pm pacific time. They should be down no more than 30 minutes!
** Edit ** Changed from global to sticky

Hey! Like the new look. Everything is working very smoothly.

I did notice that the forum trees don't show up in top bar for me:

Great! I also saw that fimg tags were no longer working, in case that hasn't also been added to the queue.

The fimg= tag is working fine now. Post here if you're still having problems with it.
Here's a test:

Hey Greg! Nice work on the update! :D

I see this topic is also posted at the top of the Announcements in my BSI game. Is that intentional?

I see it on the game I'm in, so my guess is yes. The changes are different enough that it's probably there to slow down the "Hey, what happened?!?!" deluge of posts. It surprised me, anyway. :)

I'm still trying to figure some things out, but my guess is this was made as a 'Global' type. It can/will be changed later, but it's a significant enough announcement that it will be added everywhere.

My avatar is no longer showing up in posts. I do see it when I go into my settings panel (ucp.php?i=ucp_profile&mode=avatar).

I see avatars showing up for other users (myself included) so they're working.... just not for you.

Can you try to delete and re-add it?

Yeah, I am seeing others. I am kinda new here so I am not sure if people that have blank avatars were already that way or experiencing the same problem as me.

I didn't have enough coffee. Deleted and reuploaded the image. Also ensured it was in the parameters of pixel dimensions and size. Seems to have worked.

Hey guys,
I'm also noticing that lots of fimg images from my games are now gone.

And, in my most recent posts...

viewtopic.php?p=495676#p495676
viewtopic.php?p=495768#p495768
viewtopic.php?p=495752#p495752

Most of the downloaded images are gone.
Any previous use of the "list" function now retroactively adds a bullet point to the first item of that list.

And less urgently:
Any previous use of "insert url" now retroactively adds an underline.
Previously, a spoiler use added a "return" after it. That "return" line is now gone.

Thanks.

I see the problem now. Can you post where you saw missing image(s)?
Thanks

It looks all of my images are showing up now: viewtopic.php?p=488368#p488368

I too am noticing that spoilers (and maybe lists, quotes and tables?) aren't following the same line break rules as they did before—but personally I would prefer to have them all not add any extra lines anyway.
