Hello there!
Hello there!
Hello there!
I started playing with 3rd edition D&D, until I grew tired of writing up statblocks and went off to play other systems (CoC, GURPS, Savage Worlds... among many others). 5e brought me back to D&D for a while, but I quickly grew disenchanted with it. Then I found out about the OSR and realized they got it right the first time they published the game back in 1974!
Lately I haven't had much time to roleplay in person, but the itch is still there and I really need to scratch it I've played some Play-By-Post before, but never in these forums.

Welcome Aboard Redline!
Re: Hello there!
Welcome! There are lots of OSR types here. I'm not one of them, but sometimes I think I'm in the minority...
Re: Hello there!
Thank you all for the warm welcome! I'll have a look at the various games to find one to apply to. I feel that I will have a hard time deciding.

Re: Hello there!
Welcome!
Sometimes this summer I will most likely be participating in another 24 hour game of Dungeons & Dragons as part of Extra Life. This organization uses gaming to help raise money to donate to children's hospitals. I'm raising money for Marshfield Children's Hospital in Marshfield, WI, and all money I raise will go to that hospital. All donations are tax-deductible. Please take a moment to check out my donation page below. Thank you.
