Greetings
Heyo, ^_^
I have played D&D since I was wee in the 80's. It is my first time on a message board playing the game, it will be new and exciting I hope.
I friend invited me to play and I am currently still learning how to navigate the space. Especially, seeing as once I joined a lot more areas opened up.
Thank you,
Casper

Welcome in!
It's hard to explain puns to kleptomaniacs because they always take things literally.

Just an initial FYI, as an anti-spam measure our forums require an Admin to approve your first two posts. You are halfway there! But that's why you saw a delay in this post, and there will be a (hopefully slight) delay in the posting of the next one.
Other than that, explore and enjoy! It's a great place to game!

Ask tons of questions, folks here are pretty supportive.

This is a game about killing things and taking their stuff so you can become more powerful in order to kill bigger things and take even better stuff.

Re: Greetings
Hello Casper.
You will find a home here if you prefer old school (1980's) D&D for sure. Plenty of module based games or sandbox open world campaigns to get your teeth in to.
I can only recommend the games I have played in. Some very creative DM's run challenging and fun ones. Read the Looking for Players thread and have fun joining in.

Welcome aboard!
Sometimes this summer I will most likely be participating in another 24 hour game of Dungeons & Dragons as part of Extra Life. This organization uses gaming to help raise money to donate to children's hospitals. I'm raising money for Marshfield Children's Hospital in Marshfield, WI, and all money I raise will go to that hospital. All donations are tax-deductible. Please take a moment to check out my donation page below. Thank you.
