Tinuwen does likewise, shifting and attacking if she can.

To hit with sword [1d20+1] = 19+1 = 20
Damage from sword [1d8] = 4

The Lost Halls of the First ElvenKing, Mountains of Mirkwood, Rhovanion, Middle Earth
Night. March 22, Year One of the Fourth Age
Day Four. Damp, cold

At the Lost Halls of the First ElvenKing, the Company witness first hand the darkness that has crept back into Mirkwood forest at the fell design of Sauron.

The Company withstands another murderous assault, and Gilly the dwarf is wounded once more by a crude, brutal blade (-6hp damage)! From the second rank, her brother Glasik can only look on as his sister is stabbed again!

Naruthirdor shouts in the tongue of dwarves that Elbenarin should fall back and the party wheel clockwise. But the Dunedain Ranger of the North will not retreat in the face of this enemy, leaving the party no opening into which to shift!

Alone in a dead end to the west, Folco the hobbit searches fruitlessly for a hidden secret passage. The nearby oil-borne flames die, plunging him into darkness. But to the northwest, the orc-fueled bonfire rages on!

At the battle at the crossroads, broad iron shields emblazoned with the white hand of Saruman beat back the steel of Elbenwin, Elbenarin, Gilly and Therone! But all is not in vain. The scintillating sword of Rumil of Mirkwood cuts deep into a murderous monster (U4)! The brute roars in pain and hate!

And at Rumil's side, possessed of grace and beauty, the elf sisters strike true. Their blades are limned in luminous firelight and, as one, they strike dead a fell Uruk beast! (U7)

Therone
Fighting for her life, Therone still smiles- a fierce, mirthless smile that never touches her eyes. She presses the attack against (U5).

Rumil of Mirkwood

Rumil strikes at U4 again. If an opportunity to shift presents itself, he will.

In dwarven, loudly, "Gilly, drop out and Therone shift into her spot!"

Long Sword [1d20+3] = 7+3 = 10 to hit [1d8+3] = 8+3 = 11 damage

Elbenarin surges at his foe with a powerful lunge to pierce it's black heart! He will continue to drive his blade through the beast to hopefully push it back and allow room for the injured to fall back!

Long Sword Attack [1d20+1] = 20+1 = 21 (THACO=19)
Long Sword Damage = S/M: [1d8+1] = 3+1 = 4 +2 = 6/ L: [1d12+1] = 8+1 = 9+2 = 11

Folco draws his magical elven blade to illuminate the remainder of his search before heading back around the troll carcass to rejoin his friends.

He stops just before he reaches the entrance chamber again to have another listen down the hallway where the orcs came from, hoping he doesnt hear any more of them coming.

Naruthirdor steps back to allow folks to shift, and to keep an eye on the outside. He yells again in Dwarvish, "Keep shifting left! Shift left to give Therone a chance! Let the orcs be squashed in that dead end." Trying to think if Folco speaks Dwarf tongue, Naruthirdor yells again in Hobbitish, "Folco, we may be making a tactical retreat if you can hear me!"
This is a game about killing things and taking their stuff so you can become more powerful in order to kill bigger things and take even better stuff.

Glasik Ironfoot

Unable to do anything, the dwarf stands by, frustrated by his inability to get in on the action. Hearing Naruthirdor call out to Folco, he realizes he hasn't seen or heard from the hobbit since before this most recent skirmish began. He will try to get past the troll if he can avoid the flames and begin searching for their friend's body.

Gilly cries out in pain as the Uruk's sword cleaves her yet again. Staggering from the blow, the heed's Rumil's order, while also hollering at Red to attack!
Red Attacks: [1d20] = 17 Bite Dmg: [1d4] = 3

Trying to catch her breath, while ignoring the blood running down her thigh, Gilly pulls her hand axe and hurls it at the Uruk. But she is weak and her throw goes wild...
Throwing Axe: [1d20] = 2 S/M Dmg: [1d6+1] = 4+1 = 5 Lg Dmg: [1d4+1] = 3+1 = 4

The Lost Halls of the First ElvenKing, Mountains of Mirkwood, Rhovanion, Middle Earth
Night. March 22, Year One of the Fourth Age
Day Four. Damp, cold

The Company fight with valiance and grace. But against this foe, courage might not be enough. Their swords are notched, their shields battered, and the dark tide of evil shows no sign of relenting!

Naruthirdor's enchanted smoke dissipates into the air, unveiling a frightening sight! Lit by Gilwennen's elf spell, the eastern hall is filled with savage Uruk monsters, hungry for the Company's flesh and blood! They attack with unbridled fury, and savage the brave heroes with hooked iron blades! (-9hp, -9hp and -4hp to Elbenarin, Rumil and Therone respectively!)

Thus falls noble Rumil of Mirkwood, trampled in the mire of his own blood!

As faithful Red bites her attacker's leg, Gilly staggers back hurling an ax that sails wide! "Now where are you off to, little dwarf?" leers her Uruk foeman with merry hate.

Therone's sword crashes against an orc shield and she bounds leftward, into a hole in the heroes' line carved open by cruel orc swords! The brutal Uruk she retreats from (U5) hacks her without mercy! (-8hp!) "Come back and play, dearie! We're just getting started! Ha! Ha!"

Again, Elbenarin and Tinuwen courageously strike true, each nearly slaying an enemy in one blow (U6, U8) but the Uruks prove too accustomed to pain and suffering!

Before their line ruptured, Glasik the dwarf had moved west in search of poor Folco's body. He finds it, alive and well, among a conflagration of dead orcs! Folco directs a pointed ear to the northwest but all he and Glasik can hear are the chilling sounds of warfare, and Naruthirdor the elvish wizard shouting in Hobbitish, "Folco, we may be making a tactical retreat if you can hear me!"

Glasik Ironfoot

Surprised to see the hobbit still lives, the dwarf says, You'll have to tell me how you managed to survive sometime, but right now our friends need help! Returning back to the combat lines, Glasik will step into the open gap and attack if able to do so.

Tinuwen resists the urge to lop off the head of her attacker, knowing that the fallen Rumil needs her aid.

Casts Cure Light Wounds on Rumil.
