This is a game about killing things and taking their stuff so you can become more powerful in order to kill bigger things and take even better stuff.

Re: Tankards of Ale in Firelit Halls (ooc and questions l)
As some of you know, this weekend is Gamehole Con, so I will be busy Wednesday-Sunday and will probably not have opportunity to check in until Sunday night, as pretty much every waking moment during the con is spent gaming.
On June 29th I will be participating in another 24 hour game of Dungeons & Dragons as part of Extra Life. This organization uses gaming to help raise money to donate to children's hospitals. I'm raising money for Marshfield Children's Hospital in Marshfield, WI, and all money I raise will go to that hospital. All donations are tax-deductible. Please take a moment to check out my donation page below. Thank you.

Have fun Scott. Hopefully all that nonstop dice rolling doesn't give you blisters.

Hey,
So, this round we have six PCs that say they want to enter here at D.
One votes to go directly to entrance K.
Folco/OM and Elbenarin/Raven haven't posted this round.
Naruthirdor/Ron didn't voice an opinion.
But 6 out 10 is a majority.
Rumil/Rex, please roll a d6 to break down the door.
I can move the action along after that. Thanks.

Glasik/Scott is at Gamehole Con til Monday. I can roll for him.Rex wrote:Rumil of Mirkwood

We both have open doors 1-4 on d6

Naruthirdor is happily hyper-focused on information gathering. He'll weigh in only if he needs to, or feels the need to impart his wisdom.
Otherwise, definitely going with the (he feels) impulsive and ill-advised decisions of the group.

I am heading out for the woods and won't be back until Monday evening, NPC if needed.

Have a good time. Thanks for the heads up.

Hi hedge, hedgeknight wrote:I thought we had some type of marching order somewhere...right?
Yes, here: viewtopic.php?p=423306#p423306
But it was originally made for a wilderness setting. Just confirming it's what you guys want for a dungeon setting too.

It doesn't have "Red" in it, but it seems okay for 10' hallways methinks:

Night. March 22, Year One of the Fourth Age
Day Four. Damp, cold
Naruthirdor the elf whispers to the carrion bird as it eagerly gobbles up his rations. "Of those left, are there orcs? Trolls? Other types?"
"Yes!" caws the raven between beakfuls. "Yes there are!"
"Any that use magic or wield glowing weapons?"
"I know not!"
"Or set traps to catch others of my type?"
"Yes! They delight in catching your type! Such good sport they give!"
"Do those who live here fight amongst themselves..."
"Of course! Orcs hate each other! And everything else!"

Ooops, sorry, I miscommunicated
I meant to ask if it were possible to have any further attempts. Sorry!

Sure. The spell's duration hasn't expired yet.

I'm assuming that "right hand" means from the PC's POV? Left hand tunnel as we look at the map?
Yes, but I never said "right hand."
Look:
Inferno wrote:The tread of footfalls! The clink of chain! The grunting of voices guttural and inhuman! Coming from the pitch darkness of the western channel!
In fact, I was going to write "right hand" but never did to avoid confusion!
