Mouser hears Hoom call down but it seems to come from far away... was he dreaming it? His corrupted soul seems to be drawn to this foul pit. His gaze slides over empty cages and memories of equally desperate souls clawing for life... His sling finds a bullet and sends it forth toward the monstrosities (R8) that are growing larger in his reality...

Sling (THACO 20) [1d20+2] = 9+2 = 11, damage [1d4+1] = 2+1 = 3

Stuck at the water's edge, Pip calls out "Save us! The interlopers have killed the High Priest! Uhhhh... Ia! Ia! Hurry!" Pip generally tries to look like a loud cultist, hoping to draw at least someone over to him (and the entangling pool).
