Wyntar, would you care to split the difference? That way we could each have 1 invisibility going in... Only a thought. You will need to cast the last two necessary invisible spells from your current spell list (todays) to make everyone that you want unseen before heading out to battle.

Yes that's fine, I'll mark it used on my spell list.

Re: OOC II
It looks to me like the Insect Plague spell requires a target point and the swarm cant be moved once it is cast.Nuke66 wrote:He directs the swarm to the castle while awaiting the first of the lightning strikes.
Or, am I wrong about that too?
Re: OOC II
It states the plague does not move after casting.
Re: OOC II
But the Castle is currently moving...
Yeah, we'll have to think a bit different. Given the casting time, it is out of the question. I gotta swap for Rock-to-Mud since that only takes 7 segments.

Re: OOC II
I grudgingly agree. The plan was good, the timing bad. Carry on!

What does this mean?Nuke66 wrote:I suppose 20 up and forward
20' up and 20' forward?
20' up and 280' forward?
I need the distance traveled as well as an elevation.

Everyone in the skyfish is. No, you can't see each other. The only person you can see in the party is Morgi.Dram wrote:Is everyone under the same invisibility spell. And are we able to see each other?

Re: OOC II
I realize that this approach is probably taking longer than what might seem necessary, especially to the six of you simply flying in a straight line.
I'm really just waiting to see if Morgi wants to do something different now that he can see how close the enemy is.
Thanks for being patient with this part.

Re: OOC II
The skyfish is moving 30 up and 120 forward each round. You are more than welcome to use your full movement and pull away, but if you want to stay with the illusion, you need to match their speed.Nuke66 wrote:Morgi continues to climb, 50 up and 150 forward, to match his illusory mount
Am I making this too complicated?
Re: OOC II
I just got the "Have fun storming the castle" joke. At first I thought it was just the usual Princess Bride reference but "storm" in this case? Brilliant, Ogre!
Re: OOC II
sorry, I had the movement rates twisted. He will match his mount. 30 up and 120 is fine.

No problem. I just want to make sure everyone is on the same page.Nuke66 wrote:sorry, I had the movement rates twisted. He will match his mount. 30 up and 120 is fine.
I'm just glad someone actually picks up on those little idiocies idiosyncrasies.greyarea wrote:I just got the "Have fun storming the castle" joke. At first I thought it was just the usual Princess Bride reference but "storm" in this case? Brilliant, Ogre!
Re: OOC II
I really HATE to do this now of all times, but...
Since I'm burning all my sick & vacation time for the year anyway, the Wife & I decided we otto just go somewhere. So off we go to the south-sea Island Kingdoms for a couple of weeks. Get out of this winter wonderland, find a sandy beach, and be lazy with a tall glass of rum & pineapple. Taking out on March 2nd, returning March 16th. I'll have 'net access, but it'll be spotty, as I intend to go as remote as possible. Still, I do NOT want to be absent for this battle! I'll keep apprised and post when I can, but please NPC Mirachele as necessary.

So jealous!
I gotta wait another 2 months for the warm beach.
Have a great time man!
(If you want to post multiple rounds of actions per post or possible contingencies for certain actions, that is cool with me)
