Re: Chapter 2: The Long Road to Glory
So when we reach the first orc guard he will turn invisible with us? We will need to act smartly on this. We will need a distraction on the opposite side of our approach. And kill each one of them quickly.

Re: Chapter 2: The Long Road to Glory
Zendur avoids the outter guards and continues onward into the cave tunnels as quietly as possible with the silence spell and all.
Nimble carefully avoids the guards outside and continues into the cavern.

Hands on cloak, Seebo follows the person in front of him, though he's not sure who it is. As they move past the guards, he runs through various scenarios in his head, planning the best spell to use in any circumstance.

NARRATOR
The party manages to get past the two interior guards without altering them, but just barely. The party stops just before the Battle Banner of the Rotting Eye Tribe. They are caught between guards now and if the party moves either way they will alert a guard that something suspicious is going on, but not necessarily that they are there. It is a gambit from here on in around every corner. Ajax map stops just beyond, what the party can now recognize as a Mess Hall. Suddenly without warning, each party member is contacted by Sotha Sil (Except Zendur) Through the broach that he gave each member of the party. He announces to the party members in their minds and then sends them a mental image of the area he has scouted ahead. He believes that the shaman is located somewhere within the circled area. He also warns that should the party try to pass through the Mess hall there is a goodly chance that they will be caught.
" I have scouted ahead my friends. I have found the area that I believe the Shaman resides. The Mess hall ahead of you is full of orcs eating, 20 to be precise. I was able to slip past them alone but I fear that the rest of the party wont be so lucky. Think well on your next move. I will mentally send you a map of the areas I have scouted. I will also continue to try and located the Shaman. Once found I will await the party to form up before making my move.

SOTHA SIL
Sotha Sil mentally reaches out with his mind and disenchants the beggars Broach and then says;
" When I find out who is missing their broach, we will have words! I do not appreciate beggars getting gifts of powerful magic that is linked to me. "

Ulfang Chainbreaker, barbarian:
"What devilry is this?!" the barbarian thought when he first heard the wizard's words in his mind.
After Sotha finished his report, Ulfang thought: "Perhaps that foul smelling area ahead on the right connects to the shaman's caverns?"
Then, "Wizard! Did you see the Wyvern?"

Ariknoq, fighter-cleric
Though Ulfang's words are unheard in the magic silence, Ariknoq is thinking similar thoughts. Worth checking that area in case it connects to the caves. He steers toward that direction.

Sotha sil
" although I did not see it I suspect that the wyvern resides in the stink filled cave I passed by. Draconian creatures have a very unusual smell to them. I would steer clear of that cave as the wyvern will be able to smell you even invisible.

Zendur & Nimble entirely unaware of what is going on remains silent and starts off towards the mess hall both sneaking and hopefully invisible. They both are careful to avoid touching or getting too close to any of the eating orcs.

He try's hard not to retch but the bile in his stomach overwhelms him and he discharges his last meal all over the deck. One of the orc's shouts intruder and nimble although invisible is surrounded in a matter of seconds. The orcs unsheathes their rusty short swords and circle around where they belive the intruder to be. None are sure what to do. Saphjawx- Understanding how the broach works uses his mind. We need to save Nimble he has been spotted within the dining room. Some of you will need to watch the area in which the smell is coming from. We would not want there guard coming with out a warning.
How high does the invisibility spell go? And is there a ledge of any sort in the lair?

Re: Chapter 2: The Long Road to Glory
does the broach enable us to hear each other or do we all just connect to Sotha - I aam not clear on this.
Possibly a bit late now but 'quite area' to the left of the map may have linked around to where we wanted to go
